A Magnificent Oak and Mahogany long case clock by John Longstaff, Bishop Auckland. 18th cent. Measures 81" high, width is 24" at widest point. Oak and Mahogany case with blind fretwork detail, fluted quarter columns with turned capitals, superb patternation, also flower inlays, on bracket feet, the hood with swan neck pediments, 3 Brass Ball and Eagle Finials, fluted columns with brass capitals, a top quality clock, The clock detail has a Shepherdess with Dog and Flock of Sheep Scene with Thatched Cottages painted dial. The eight day movement strikes the hours on a bell & the clock is complete. The clock workings have been restored at some point, working order. complete with 2 lead weights, pendulum and winding handle, £495 ono Delivery possible for a fee. Set of 10 magnificent, high-quality Regency style reproduction dining chairs (two carvers and eight normal chairs). Made to order by Bevan and Funnell (take a look at their website to get a feel for the quality) in solid mahogany with seats covered in gold silk/linen mix material. We have just moved into a modern house and, unfortunately these beautiful period style chairs do not suit the décor and we have reluctantly decided to part with them. Each chair is 93cms tall (top of back to floor) and 50cms high from seat to floor. They are 55cms wide (seat), 45cms wide (back) and 49cms deep (seat). The carver arms are 58cms wide and 38cms deep.
