hh 8yo bay gelding Very sad sale and difficult decision so no time wasters please Unraced and never been in proper training We have owned him since a yearling so all history known The intention was always to race him but it just isn't for him He has only really hacked which he does alone or in company I have ridden him in the school twice this week and he is keen and willing to learn and is starting already to work in a soft outline in walk and trot but is obviously very green in the school He has fantastic paces so I think he would excel dressage He isn't a bold jumper but I think he would jump a small course of jumps and would improve with education He has done fun rides which he enjoys He isn't a novice ride as can be a bit strong in company if your cantering but only currently in a snaffle He has the most amazing temprement would never bite or kick he loves fuss and will stand for hours to be groomed He is easy to handle stands at a mounting block he will make someone a fantastic horse We are only selling as don't want him to be wasted as we spend all our time with our point to pointers 5* home a must as very hard sale His only vice is that he is a mild wind sucker in the stable never in the field and this can be stopped with a collar but we don't bother He is 100% in traffic catch clip dogs shoe etc £995 I can get a vid in the school if required Read More

For sale Beautiful bay Gelding 8yo 16hh For sale as a project, he's a lovely boy with great manners. He hacks alone and in company and is good in all traffic. He's good on the flat and improves every time, just lacking top line which is also improving week by week. He's not sharp or spooky but is forward going, he would be ideal for someone looking for a winter project who has the time. I don't really want to sell but doing what I feel is best for him as I only have a grass paddock to work him in and when it's wet I can't ride or lunge on it as it's also winter grazing so don't want to churn it up, also no lights so after work it's a race against the light:(so I don't want to see him get wasted over winter! Been professionally schooled, working nicely in all three paces and started basic lateral work. Has jumped 1m20 over one fence and been round tracks of up to 1m. Never once stopped or backed off scary fillers, seen flower pots etc. Good to catch, clip, shoe etc, lives in or out with mares or geldings. Recently been brought back into work after the winter off due to lack of time. Serious event prospect although would excel in any discipline. Tinker is a 14 3 cob x gelding. He is 8 years old. He is an extremely good doer. Tinker is sadly for sale due to a serious lack of time which means that he has had to be turned out 24 7. He is not getting the time, love or attention that he so deserves and wants. More details can be given if genuine interest. Tinker is an absolutely cracking little boy. He has been 're schooled when I bought him as all he wanted to do was race. He now rides beautifully in the menage and in open spaces. He does need a confident and firm but fair rider to get the best out of him. Tinker deserves to be getting out and about and just having a job which he enjoys. He is fast against the clock and also moves beautifully so could easily excel in any discipline. He hacks out both alone and in company, although he hasn't been hacked out much with myself. Tinker will stand to be groomed all day long. He is sane and sensible and good to do in all ways - the only exception to this is with clipping as he can be bolshy at times when being clipped. Lovely comfy havannah saddle which is in good condition. It has a few stirrup leather scuffs but as you can see from the pics these aren't really noticeable. It's 16.5 inch seat with adjustable gullet (4 screws and Velcro) and comes with 4 gullets and the measuring device too. It's wool flocked and has openings to allow flocking adjustment by a saddler.
