Hi-Gear Kalahari 8-man tent bought new 3 years ago. During this time we have only used the tent 4 times. No smoking family and at the time no pets (we have a dog now but never stayed in the tent). The full spec can be found on the Go Outdoors website but precisely it is: mm hydro head, weight 24.4kg, sleeps 8 comfortably in 4 or 2 separate compartments. There is also a large central area where an adult can easily stand up. There are 2 entrance doors and the zip to one is broken (the door can still be sealed, its the zip to the net that is broken). This is a big tent so only really suitable for use over a couple of days or more. Also included is the Kalahari porch. A really useful add-on to give additional space. We found it an ideal utility room in which to place the cooker, table, food etc. Cooking inside the tent is not advisable. Currently retails for £437. Massive 8 berth tent large living area and large porch

This tent is truly amazing. It's 8 berth easily, 4 in each bedroom. It also has a huge living area in the middle and a huge porch which easily fits our massive camping kitchen and a table and bench set! It has ventilation areas in each compartment and cam be easily erected in less than 30 minutes. Only selling due to getting a smaller car. A couple of the poles have started to split, but new poles are only a few pounds - The tent still goes up ok but it is something that will need doing at some point!
