Large Family Tunnel Tent - Gelert 6+2 8 Man tent - huge

The living space measures a massive 380x480cm which will provide plenty of space for dining and all your extra camping furniture. Due to the large front and side windows light freely enters the living area and the 220cm head height adds to the feeling of light, airy space. Each side window has a mesh vent above and features an internal privacy cover. The living area also features a fully sewn-in groundsheet to keep the elements at bay. We have had this for 4 years, used for about 12 trips, Brilliant tent. Been in the loft for a season so we put it up in the garden at the weekend to confirm all is OK. 1 fibreglass pole split on one end - 4 spare included. I have replaced one before (they do split from time to time) but not got round to changing this. We now have a caravan and don't need the tent. Sad to see it go really. Listed elsewhere. Hi-Gear Kalahari 8-man tent bought new 3 years ago. During this time we have only used the tent 4 times. No smoking family and at the time no pets (we have a dog now but never stayed in the tent). The full spec can be found on the Go Outdoors website but precisely it is: mm hydro head, weight 24.4kg, sleeps 8 comfortably in 4 or 2 separate compartments. There is also a large central area where an adult can easily stand up. There are 2 entrance doors and the zip to one is broken (the door can still be sealed, its the zip to the net that is broken). This is a big tent so only really suitable for use over a couple of days or more. Also included is the Kalahari porch. A really useful add-on to give additional space. We found it an ideal utility room in which to place the cooker, table, food etc. Cooking inside the tent is not advisable. Currently retails for £437.
