16.1hh TB chestnut gelding 7yo

Lovely calm TB gelding. Over the past 6 weeks or so he has been worked and has come on so much! Last time I advertised him he wasn't doing much at all. He's a sweet natured boy who is a dream to handle on the end of a rope! Easy to catch, shoe, load travel etc. He has had time off last summer for his feet to recover and they are now perfect! He also had ulcer treatment and is in perfect health. His only problem is he can be a bit riggy with the mares! He needs to be in an all gelding field/yard. Separate fields would work, and tbh rig calm did help when I put him on it before. This riggy behaviour means he can nap if taken out alone, fine in company. And if I take my mare away from him he gets upset. With my mare out of the equation he was a lamb. He's been doing a little bit of jumping and some schooling and has come on so much in 6 weeks. Nothing bothers him otherwise, great In Traffic etc. Ridden by an 10 year old and a 13 year old. I can't separate them as we have mixed fields so I can't make it work. Comes with all tack and rugs. Honest advert, 7yo 16h TB gelding for sale

Gerry has been with us since last October, he's showing a lot of talent in jumping (has jumped up to 1m) and has nice and steady paces. He's been to two local riding club shows earlier this month and behaved impeccably and enjoyed himself very much. On the ground he is a very friendly and sweet horse who loves attention and a fuss. Sadly since he's been to the shows his behaviour has become quite bad, he is challenging authority and has reared twice now when being led (with a week of good behaviour in between). We're not sure where this is coming from, he's always been head strong but never reared. He's also become difficult to load. As this is more than we can handle we're now looking for a good and knowledgeable home that has the time and experience to further educate and train him. Riley is a 9 year old, 16hh, TB gelding. Riley is for sale through no fault of his own, I don't have the time or facilities to let him reach his true potential. Also I have fallen out of love with the sport and feel Riley is being wasted stuck in the field. Riley is the most kind and loving horse you could wish to meet and has his own little personality which you can't help but fall in love with. Over the 3 years I have owned Riley, he has competed locally in all disciplines and has always been in the ribbons. He holds a lovely natural outline and often places first in ridden classes, with judges always praising his beauty and elegant style. Riley loves to jump. He has competed up to 1m locally with me, with scope to go much higher. He is very bold and brave when it comes to jumping which makes him a good XC ride. Riley is good in traffic and will hack out alone or in company, he can go at the front or back but prefers to be at the front. Riley is not a novice ride however he is sensible and sane and will ride like a dream for an experienced and confident rider. He has been out of work for a few months which is reflected in the price. However a week of riding and he will be back up to his normal standard. I will be starting to bring him back into work over the summer and this will then be reflected in the price.
