14.1hh 6yo Registered Welsh Section D

I bought Blade in October unbroken and I've broken and produced him myself, the old fashioned way nice and slowly. He is a really fun pony who will do anything you ask, loves his work and can be left for weeks without being ridden and will be exactly the same as last time you rode him when you get back on. He is very safe and can be a bit lazy but will also step up a gear if asked. He has a great jump, fillers are no problem and has jumped water trays. He was 2nd at his 1st hunter trial he would have been 1st if I'd remembered we were meant to jump one jump upsides, I was too excited at how we were going to remember details like that!! He hacks out alone and in company, has been on fun rides and has great breaks, I think he will make a really fun pony for a confident teenager to compete or perfect mother/father and daughter/son share. My 8 yo daughter rides him in the field and has jumped him and he really looks after her. He is shod in front as I have so much road work to hack on but he was barefoot until last month without a problem. He is good to load in 7.5 and 3.5 tonne lorry and a trailer, teeth up to date and has had 1st two of his vaccinations, 3rd one due November. I will take him on hound exercise soon and continue getting him seeing everything I can although I'm yet to find something that worries him! Very sad sale of my Welsh D gelding. I bought him last year to back and bring on, but lack of time and consistancy means he has been left ong than anticipated and he is just a field ornament. He has just turned 5. He works fab on the lunge and has a fantastic jump. He has had tack on and someone on his back for not for a few months, so will need to be restarted. He has become a bit stubborn to catch, so needs a very patient experienced home. Beginning to accept a soft natural outline. Never forced, snaffle mouth. Completely unspoilt. Forward going and sensitive but not too sensitive. We've had Roo for 18 months, she is 9 in April. She was successfully shown in hand as a youngster to county level. She was professionally backed and has been to shows with a competent rider. She is responsive under saddle and good to hack out. We've only hacked her out and used her as a companion as she is too sharp for my complete novice daughter. I have taken my young niece out on the lead with her to. She needs a competent experienced handler as she can be 'grumpy' pulling faces, stomping her feet, she will occasionally nip at you.
