These chairs were a horrid dark brown colour, so I sanded them and painted them Painted with chalk paint & sealed with a satin varnish. Varnish protects better than wax & will last much longer. As with any used item they are not absolutely perfect, but there are no scratches or chunks missing from them and they are both very solid and robust. A beautiful regency style, vintage table and 6 chairs. It has been painted with Annie Sloan chalk paint in Paris Grey, then distressed and waxed to a lovely soft shine. The table sits on two pedestal legs which have the original brass claws and castors. (Worth bearing in mind if you have a wood or laminate floor!) This table would easily seat 8 people if needed. The extension leaf is easily removable when not in use. The chairs have all been re-upholstered in a beautiful pale cream and charcoal stripe. The dimensions are L163cm x W100cm x H76cm. I have painted 4 of these chairs in Flint Grey colour paint and then gently sanded to give the chairs a very smooth finish, they are then waxed to give them a lustre sheen and helps protect the chair.
