I'm selling my 50s vintage style Marc by Marc Jacobs halter neck dress, bought from Marc Jacobs in New York about 10 years ago. It's a size XS or UK 8-10 (Bust " Waist "). The dress is made from a beautiful dusky pink Merino and Angora wool mix fabric, with black sequin detail at the bust. It has a metal exposed zip with hook and eye at the back. Perfect for a special occasion such as a wedding, this dress is a dream to wear. (I wore it at my 30th Birthday party). I'm selling my beautiful wedding dress which was purchased from Morgan Davies in London. It's in perfect condition having been worn for around 10 hours in total! and has been professionally dry cleaned and boxed. I've included photos from a few different angles so you can see the front and back. I'm a size and the dress was a little big for me. After much deliberation I have decided to sell my beloved wedding dress. I've thought long and hard about this - as it's such a unique dress - I have never seen anything similar before or after my wedding - but there's no point of it living in my cupboard and not getting the love it deserves! I love this dress because it's both "unique" and "beautiful", "cool" and "feminine". I felt absolutely amazing wearing it and if I could think of another legitimate occasion to wear it, would definitely not being selling it. Description: There's some boning to give shape to the bust Around the bust, are some charming tassly bits, which I considered removing but decided to keep as I thought they added character to the dress It's shorter at the front, with a delicate, but manageable crochet trail Asymmetrical bottom half of the dress which part reveals your legs (a gorgeous and fun detail) Dress zips up at the back, making it easy to get into I confess I'm not sure what the fabric is - it's quite delicate and there's a sheer lining which is visible through the crochet bottom of the dress - sorry those of you that know more about textiles!
