16hh 6 year old TB Gelding Horse for Sale(ROR Unraced)

Lovely project TB for sale, based in Arley/Cheshire. *Experienced Home wanted* 16hh, 6 years old, Bay, Gelding, registered with Weatherby's as 'McCool Runnings' otherwise known as 'Mac' at home. Sire: Cockney Rebel Dam: Dances with Angels. Fully up to date with Vacs, dentist, physio etc (nothing noted) and passed 2 stage vetting in Feb when I bought him which you are welcome to view. Loads and travels fine (once he finds his feet), and perfect with the farrier, he can be a little sensitive with his ears but not nasty, and I haven't clipped him but he was fully clipped when I bought him so assume no issues. He is fine to bath, goes in the hot wash/solarium and groom etc. Sadly for sale as I do not have enough time to do this boy justice and continue is education, he is not suitable for novices due to his age, breed and background. He trained to race but was too slow so never raced but is registered ROR, I bought Mac in Feb as a project to bring on whilst my other competition horse is out of action, unfortunately due to a change in work commitments I am no longer able to dedicate the time to him and I am struggling during the week. He is a lovely boy, but he needs stimulation and consistent repetitive work and therefore not suitable for just anyone - he can be spooky and can get upset in busy/loud environments but has already come on leaps and bounds with me as an amateur, with consistent works and lots of it he will excel massively. I have taken him to camp/clinics and out training around somerford/kelsall and he has behaved impeccably, drops/ditches/water all fine etc. Was professionally schooled for 7 weeks over summer with Andrew Downes, and works in a lovely soft outline but but is still a baby and it is not perfect but he is ridden in a Nathe rubber snaffle for everything and is not strong in the slightest and therefore requires someone willing to put more work into him - this is reflected in his price and I am of course open to sensible offers and happy to discuss him in full, as I cannot stress enough that I want the best for this boy - therefore home very much more important then price. 10 year old TB 16'2 TB Gelding

10 year old 16'2 TB Gelding. We have owned Felix for just over a year and have come to the conclusion that he needs a home that has more time for him. He has come a long way since we brought him but needs more work and we just don't have the time. He schools beautifully the way he carries himself is delightful he has three lovely paces and has a lovely fluid movement, I could imagine him doing a very nice dressage test. We have never taken him out competing and apart from popping him over a little jump in our school he hasn't done any jumping since we have owned him so can't really comment on his jumping ability. We are definitely what you would call a happy hacking home so haven’t taken him to shows. He is best when ridden frequently although last weekend we rode for the first time in 3 months and hacked on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday he was excited and it took longer than usual to tack him up and as soon as my husbands bottom was in the saddle he was jogging up the road! He jogged around and was generally very excitable so we only did road work. On the Sunday he was like a totally different horse, stood quietly to be tacked up, easy to mount and was cool as a cucumber so we went out for a good 2 hours and had 3 canters and a gallop. It was very pleasant hack. My husband and I mainly hack together which Felix does prefer but he has hacked alone and if he did it more I am sure he would settle much more quickly. We hack down fairly busy roads and he is fine, he does very occasionally do excited little bucks, not in nasty 'I am going to throw you off way' just I am excited and I want to go. Where he needs the most work still is on the ground he has a nervous disposition and will need a patient owner who has time to gain his trust. He isn’t at all nasty and does have stable manners he just gets nervous. We clipped him this weekend and we do it in stages so it takes 2 days rather than a few hours. He will stand to be groomed for 20 minutes and then gets fidgety, he takes longer than you average horse to tack up, nothing at all nasty he just has trust issues. He loads fine in either a box or trailer but doesn't like travelling alone, we tend to load him last and then out first to try and keep his mood as calm as possible. He can't be left in a field by himself or left on the yard by himself. He is good for the farrier and has never been lame or had any health problems. Up to date with jabs. I haven’t had him long as he’s too sharp for me and napping with me as I dont have the skills and confidence to manage him but he was happily hacking out with the previous owners on roads and she did some schooling but he would benefit from more education. Ray is fully vaccinated passport.recently had back checked and had teeth done in November. Iv had ray since August . I brought him to go out and compete but his only fault is loading iv spent hours practicing to the point he goes on on his own.i took him over cannock chase and he was a star i came to put him on a week later back to square one he is not intrested he travels great it just getting on. I have been told he loads better on a trailer but I'm not in a position to just buy a trailer or a towing vehicle.If I didn't have the other 2 I would keep him and get another one to compete. He hacks alone or in company I do find him better on his own or with a sensible horse or horses. As a girls pony bolted home and he just jogged.he's Great in open fields. Due to a sad change in my circumstances my handsome boy needs a new home either as a project horse or a companion. He loves other horses and people and is happy to live out as he is surprisingly hardy for a TB! He has lovely ground manners and loves to be fussed. windsor 8 year old 15.2 bay gelding TB a sweet kind gent in

This is such a sad sale of my daughters horse and she is heart broken to see him go, but she must put her A levels first and she just doesn't have the time for him at the moment he's just sat in the field getting fat. We first brought windsor for my son two years ago and he has taken him out on many group rides and some hunting, where he was very well behaved in just a snaffle. Before we had him he had hunted for two seasons with the TSH but sadly he just was not enough of a challenge for our Son so we passed him on to our daughter who at the time had just got her confidence back ridding a steady cob. Windsor was kind enough to put up with nerves and has taken her from strength to strength, they have both learnt to do some small jumps and a bit of school work although they are both green in this area, he takes everything in his stride. I would say that windsor is a mother daughter share/or a lovely ladies hunter he has excellent stable manners a dream to clip/box/wash/lead/catch he will always come to you to see if you have any goodies in the field. 5 Year Old Gelding

Winston (Wiseton) 5year old 15.3hh thoroughbred gelding. After a tough time after his racing career, Winnie came to me in May as a very sorry looking horse. After lots of TLC and plenty of good food, he is finally looking super. He started retraining September last year, but was then put out of work in November due to me focusing on my mare and giving him time to mature. Since November he has been sat on a few times and always been fine, just a little touchy (which you can expect from any young, sensitive thoroughbred). He has done a fair amount of lunging work and is starting to come into good shape, but he will need to be brought back into ridden work. Unfortunately as he isn't turning out as I would like, he needs to find a home with a job that he will enjoy. I think he would excel in an experienced riding club/eventing/jumping home with an older, experienced teenager or adult and unfortunately I don't have much interest in jumping. Winnie has no vices at all, although he can be grumpy and pull faces at times, but will never do anything other than scowl! He does actually enjoy the fuss too, just likes to pretend he doesn't. ??
