Sweet natured mare, lives in or out. Easy to manage and excellent manners. Darcy enjoys hacking out alone or in company and will go first or last. She is very good with traffic taking bikes, fast traffic and country lane traffic in her stride. She has recently done some intensive ground work and can produce a nice outline. She has worked with poles but only just seen jumps - however shows promise. Happy as a field horse (though she does like company) she has flourished in a busy yard with plenty going on. Darcy is good with the farrier, but her feet are excellent and she is currently ridden barefoot and is comfortable that way in the school, tracks and roads. Sophie is a 14.1hh liver chestnut Welsh section D and is 12 years old. She is passported and fully up to date with all her vaccinations. She is amazing to clip, shoe, load etc. never bothers with anything. She has 3 lovely paces and has jumped courses of 80cm out. She has done show jumping, cross country and eventing and is so good every time I take her out. As she is getting older I am looking for someone to give her a nice steady life and only jump courses of around 70cm and take good care of her as I want to go and do higher level show jumping. She was my first pony and has taught me everything i know today. I went from just being able to go over a cross pole, to jumping 1.10m. She is a real confidence boost and has been on a riding school, so is good for kids learning to ride but also can do advanced work for more advanced riders. I have a 3 year old Welsh Cob (section D) for sale through no fault of his own but I don't have the time this boy deserves. He is one of the most loving youngsters I have ever come across, he will follow you round the field all day, loves to be groomed and fussed and will make anyone a lovely pet. Spencer will be ready to start his education soon eg lunging but still has a lot of growing and filling out to do. The only fault with this pony is the farrier, I can pick up all 4 of his feet but when the farrier comes he gets very distressed but with time and patience he has let the farrier trim his feet, he just needs to trust the farrier as I think he has had a bad experience. It is with much sadness that we have decided that time has come to sell on our beloved Arab cross handsome chestnut gelding, Aztec. (Registered with Arab Society and has full passport). He is full of character, great fun to ride and my teenage daughter has jumped at numerous local shows, hunted, taken him on fun rides and cross country events/hunter trials.
