RARE!! Outwell Bahia 5 Superior Range 5-7 berth tent

Outwell Bahia 5 tent is from Outwell's Superior Collection featuring it's hybrid freestanding ridged frame design. It is rare to see these tents for sale on the 2nd hand market as people hold onto them. This top of the range, large 5 berth (2 bedroom) family tent is extremely versatile and becomes a 7 berth when the additional bedroom pod is attached. This tent is very spacious and tall enough for my 6' 5" son to stand up in with plenty of headroom. The dimensions are 6.75m x 3.7m x 2.15m without the awning and 9m x 3.7m x 2.15m with the detachable awning. This tent has only been used a few times and is in immaculate condition with no mold, rips or tears. The tent has a hydrostatic head of mm which is one of the most waterproof tents on the domestic market. All of the windows in the tent have zipped curtains with multiple vent points protected from the elements by the hybrid eyebrow pole design. Included with this tent is the following impressive package: 2× storage pods with detachable hanging rails. Kampa Filey 5 Air, inflatable 5 berth family tent with footprint and hand pump

Kampa heralded the Filey 5 and Filey 6 as 'the ultimate AirBeam tents' and both certainly contain masses of excellent features and top quality materials. The Kampa Filey 5 featured here sleeps 5 people in a single 2+2+1 inner with removable divider curtains. Kampa's inflatable tents means there's no more traditional steel poles but instead an inflatable 'AirFrame' that is pre-attached to the awning and so there is now awkward or time-consuming assembly. The 'AirPoles' that create the frame are also inter-connected so that you can pump the entire frame up using just one valve. Conversely if something happens to damage one of the 'AirPoles' it can be isolated from neighbouring poles using the in-built isolation valve therefore ensuring continued use of the tent while a repair or replacement is arranged. The main tent houses the bedrooms and a living area that are sealed within the sewn in groundsheet. You can access this area through the side door or through the door that leads from the front canopy. This intermediate panel can be fully closed, rolled back as a door or fully opened through to the canopy. The large canopy also has a similar front panel arrangement, it can be fully closed, opened half way as a door or fully opened to let the outdoors in and create a sun canopy. The porch comes with a bathtub groundsheet that can be clipped in or left out depending upon your requirements. The side door has a large window and a secondary mosquito mesh screen. The window opposite can be zipped down to provide the ultimate in ventilation on really hot days. The main tent features a roof lining which insulates the tent, keeping it cooler in hot weather and warmer in cool weather. This gives you the advantages of polycotton without the disadvantages of extra weight and being more difficult to dry. Like all other AirFrame tents the Filey 5 is manufactured from heavy duty 150D polyester that we call Weathershield because of the superb protection it gives from the weather. The main tent features a roof lining which insulates the tent, keeping it cooler in hot weather and warmer in cool weather. This gives you the advantages of polycotton without the disadvantages of extra weight and being more difficult to dry. Like all other AirFrame tents the Filey 5 is manufactured from heavy duty 150D polyester that we call Weathershield because of the superb protection it gives from the weather. The sale also includes the footprint which goes beneath the tent for added comfort and ease of cleaning. This tent cost £900 new and has only been used for a total of 20 nights and not used for over a year due to personal injuries. All air beams were replaced two years ago to the new Kampa standards. There is a slight tear on one of the airbeam flaps but this is only aesthetic damage and is not detrimental to the tent in any way. Older style tent having a combination of metal and and fibre glass poles. Great family tent offering sleeping accommodation for 5 people in two bedrooms or giving additional living space if only one bedroom is erected. Fully fitted groundsheet and amazing number of windows with mosquito nets all of which are fully zipped which, when open act as doors, Bedrooms also have additional zipped mosquito nets. Tent poles are colour coded, with 6 metal legs attaching to 3 corresponding coloured fibre glass poles which bend into an arc and form the roof. One black fibre glass pole then runs from front to back down the centre of the tent on the out side and another set of 2 metal poles and one fibre glass pole make the final internal arch between the living area and the bedrooms. Although this may seem complicated the are diagrams with the tent and 2 people should only take 10 minutes to erect it. This tent has no damage at all but as all campers know spraying the roof with a re -proofer each year is always a good idea! Read More
