FREE to a good home, NOT a dinner table. Loving home needed for 3 back garden chickens who are fairly tame, used to children and small dogs and each have their own cheeky little personalities. The eldest is an 8 year old black Marans called Muriel, Jacko is a white Splash Warren and Buff is a buff coloured Warren. They're both 6 years old. All three are friendly and will happily follow you round the garden. They no longer lay reliably, but are excellent gardening companions and do a very good job of weeding your lawn for you. The eldest is an 8 year old black Marans (and good mother hen) called Muriel, Jacko (she used to do a moonwalk as a chick) is a white Splash Warren who was raised by Muriel and Buff is a buff coloured Warren, also raised by Muriel. All three are friendly and will happily follow you round the garden or even try and pinch your lunch! I'm sad to be offering up my beloved girls, but since the arrival or our first baby this March, my husband and I no longer have enough time to care for our chickens in the way they deserve. They used to free-range in our garden but we've been advised not to let them do this now our baby is here,since it poses a salmonella risk to him and us. Ideally we'd like them to go to someone who'll let them free range. As mentioned above, they no longer lay, but are excellent gardening companions and do a very good job of weeding your lawn for you. Chickens Very friendly - Three egg laying Hens, coop and

Reluctantly selling three very different chickens, Orpington, Light Sussex and possibly a Rhode Island Red (black) but not sure. They are approx two years old, in good health and laying eggs, on average about eight per week. I would like to sell them with their coop which is in good condition and run which I will dismantle for you. I will also give plenty of food and hay and all the accessories to set you up so you will not need to buy anything. The price I have asked for includes everything. The chickens need to be sold together and would consider offers. They are friendly chickens and will make good pets. Nice home required.

Unfortunately we have for sale our 3 Brown laying hens. All are good layers and only stop in the coldest of weather and all are friendly. Will eat from your hand and are great with children. They are used to my dog. Lovely golden egg yolks. Only for sale to good home. We would really prefer them to stay together as they have been since chicks! All get along good.
