Refurbished Shabby Chic Table and Four Chairs

This is a very chunky solid pine table that is just over 1.5 inches thick, it also sits upon a bulbous twin pedestal base. The table top has been sanded through different stages to remove all the old stained varnish which now shows off its beautiful patination within the pine wood grain. This has then been sealed with three coats of a clear satin diamond hard varnish. This finish makes the table easy to maintain and spillages just wipe away.Underneath the table top has also had a mini makeover (sanding) so it is nice and clean for its new owner. The table base after all preparation has been hand-painted in the specialist furniture chalk paint Annie Sloan in my favourite shade of Paris Grey, slightly distressed in keeping with the true ethos of the shabby chic style and again sealed with clear satin varnish. Approx Table measurements Length = 72 inches (6 foot) Width = 39 inches Table top is just over 1.5 inch thick The table does detach from the pedestal base to make transporting easier, but it is a very large chunky set so you will need a van to collect and two people to lift. Chairs There are four chairs to this set, that are the Victorian style balloon back, these are in fabulous condition, heavy strong chairs with larger than normal seating area,with good padding to make dining more comfortable.The chairs also have beautiful detailing to them,and wonderful carved turned farmhouse style legs. These have been painted and sealed to match the table base. The old fabric has all been removed and I have upholstered them in a quality really pretty fresh and vibrant leaf fabric which is bang on trend and colour ways will blend with most decors. Underneath the seats have also had new base cloth applied as I feel this gives an all round better quality finish. On the balloon back I have trimmed the fabric with a gimp braid trim,and then to be a bit different I added silver studding, I personally now think these chairs look fabulous and very unique, a showroom statement set. This is a fabulous quality made dining set that will grace any home and look stunning, it is large enough to seat more diners should you wish so great for those larger family gatherings. Newly refurbished in the style of shabby chic this beautiful drop-leaf kitchen dining table and two carver chairs (with arms). This table is very versatile and ideal for those with limited dining space as you can have it fully opened (round) or just one leaf up or none up to leave just the centre strip. Beautiful chunky solid kitchen dining chairs x six newly refurbished in the style of shabby "N"chic. Price works out at just £39 per chair which is very reasonable for these quality sturdy newly refurbished chairs. These chairs are larger than your average chairs and are in the ladder-back style.They are heavy and sturdy, very chunky chairs and would look great put with any table be it farmhouse,contemporary or modern. They have all been hand-painted in the specialist furniture chalk paint Annie Sloan in the shade of Paris Grey which is bang on trend and will co-ordinate with all colour schemes. They have then been slightly distressed in keeping with the shabby "N" chic style (manly along edges) and then sealed with a diamond hard clear matt varnish to protect. All the seats have been newly upholstered in a quality hard-wearing fabric called vintage clocks. This fabric has also been fire retardant treated. A stunning solid wood table with 2 benches and 2 carver chairs. It has been painted with old white and duck egg blue (more green than blue) chalk paint, then distressed and waxed to a lovely soft sheen. This substantial table could easily seat up to 8 people, great for those big family gatherings! The dimensions are; Table W72cm x L167cm.
