The table has undergone full refurbishment, it has been stripped back to bare wood throughout. The table base and chairs have been painted with two coats of under coat, and two coats of a Farrow and Ball colour AMMONITE The paint is oil based which is hard wearing to knocks and bumps. The top simply pulls apart revealing the two additional leaves which then simply slot into place. And when not in use, they sit beneath the table top. Whilst the top has been treated with several coats of satin varnish. The chairs have been fully refurbished and re-upholstered with new foam and new high quality fabric. The mahogany top has been sanded back for a nice natural wood finish. The top is solid old English oak.
