I have 2 chinchillas with brand new cage. They are 18 months old. I myself have only had them 3 months. I love them to bits but unfortunately due to change in my work rota and staying at my caravan a lot I don't have the time or room to let them run around or play with them. I had them from a pet shop where they were being sold and the cage they were in was very unsuitable and they did not seem happy. These are two female chinchillas approx ages of 4 and 8, mum and daughter. I have had them for 3 years but in the last few months have not had any time for them, which is not fair. There names are Rosie and Bella, but honestly they respond to voices more than anything. The cost is £200, This includes everything I have including the cage which at the time of buying it, maybe 18 months ago was £170. Chinchilla care is very simple a dust bath a day (see the last picture) which is great to watch, fresh water, nuggets and hay. I would not recommend handling for small children. They wriggle and swirm at first and my friends children have found this scary. (Not to try to put you off) Offers accepted for the right people.

Due to no longer being able to keep my house, I'm unfortunately having to sell my 2 rats as the new place doesn't accept any pets. Iv had them both about a year, they won't always jump into your hand but they come upto you and let you pick them up. I let them run around the living room sometimes and they love it. They have never bitten me and they absolutely love attention. I have a dog who runs upto the cage and sniffs then and they aren't bothered by him at all. They come with there cage, everything inside and what food I have left. One is called Rosie the other sky:)
