2 female chinchillas, large cage with everything for sale in

These are two female chinchillas approx ages of 4 and 8, mum and daughter. I have had them for 3 years but in the last few months have not had any time for them, which is not fair. There names are Rosie and Bella, but honestly they respond to voices more than anything. The cost is £200, This includes everything I have including the cage which at the time of buying it, maybe 18 months ago was £170. Chinchilla care is very simple a dust bath a day (see the last picture) which is great to watch, fresh water, nuggets and hay. I would not recommend handling for small children. They wriggle and swirm at first and my friends children have found this scary. (Not to try to put you off) Offers accepted for the right people.

My two female piggies, Haggis and Potato, need a new home through no fault of their own. My housing situation has changed and I am no longer able to care for them. Haggis (predominately white) is around two years old, Potato (predominately ginger) is around 9 months. They're both quite timid, Haggis moreso; but will come to the cage door wheeking when they hear crinkly packets. I would prefer they go to someone who has experience with Guineas. The cage they come with is only a month old, it is a two tier 120cm indoor cage. It comes with two water bottles, ramp, hay rack, a food bowl and a small brown hidey. These guys are firm buddies and have great characters. I am not keen to part with them at all but due to a recent job change I don't have the time to interact with them. Chinchillas are ideal for adults/older children as they don't sit on your lap like a cat or rabbit would. Mine are used to dogs but should never be left alone loose with any other animal. The boys live in a large two storey cage but I also have a smaller cage which they stay in if family are looking after them whilst I'm away. This was only purchased last month. I'm including both cages in the price. One chin is 7 and the other approximately 5. They've been together for 3 years and love each other's company. Both are neutered. These little guys are great friends and fantastic pets. They come with a large cage, giving them a good amount of space and even if you replace or update it they are used to a cage this size as their usual habitat. They also come with a proper travel carrier for being transported along with some food and toys, two sand baths and sand and two water bottles. Their cage is also kitted out with ledges, shelves and toys for them to play and jump around on. I've owned chinchillas for 7 years. I'm not a breeder, one i bought from pets at home when he was little and the other was from a rescue centre 4 years ago. They are regularly checked by my vet (annual check ups) and had their most recent one a week ago and are in perfect health. They are fantastic pets with great personalities. If you've not owned Chins before I'm more than happy to spend time explaining what's involved and what it takes to look after them. If you are interested and want to visit them multiple times to consider taking them on then that's fine. I adore these guys and the most important thing for me is they go to a good home. Unfortunately due to a job change I've not got enough time for them as I'm out the house most of the week for long hours. They don't need heaps of interaction but they do need s little each day.
