ANTIQUE FRENCH VERNI BRONZE MINIATURE CARRIAGE CLOCK WORKING

This is a wonderful working French miniature carriage clock with Verni Bronze inscribed to the base with the original movement present in the case. The case is in a lovely clean condition, as is the face of the clock. The clock winds up easily with the winder and the movement / time can be set using the centre turner but is a little fiddly, as you would expect with a miniature. There’s a tiny piece of glass missing from one corner but otherwise in great condition for the age of the clock. A beautiful and large antique mantle or sideboard clock. Measures approximately 19 inches tall. In Belgian Slate with decorative brass appliques. The slate in excellent condition with just a few nibbles hardly noticeable. Nice verdigree patina on the brass. Has a good French movement with the very desirable visible escapement. Strikes the hour and the half hour on a coil and keeps good time. Would enhance any good room and be a nice heirloom.
