Late 19th century solid oak twin pedestal writing desk. This desk has ox blood colour original leather with beautiful gold tooling. Two pedestals have three drawers and four original wheels each. The top of the desk has three drawers. All drawers with the original unique metal handles. Measurements of the desk: H - 76 cm W - 122 cm D - 60 cm The desk is in very good overall condition given its age, as wood,metal handles,wheels and leather. The Gainsborough chair is sold separately. Fabulous Top Quality Antique 19th Century Solid Wood Leather Top Pedestal Desk Original Key

Fabulous quality antique 19th century desk. Made from solid wood. The top of the desk and the top of the bureau have original beautifully gold tooled oxblood red leather inlay. This desk has 11 drawers: three on the each pedestal, three on the top of the desk, and two on the bureau. Three top drawers of the desk are lockable with the original key. All the drawers have original handles. The small cabinet door on the bureau is beautifully encrusted. The desk splits into four parts for transportation:two pedestals, a top and a bureau. This unique desk is solid and elegant at the same time. Stunning desk in very good for its age order. The condition is as seen in the pictures.
