18" Symonds Hand-Crafted Designer Black Leather Saddle - Made in Walsall This beautiful and comfortable saddle has not been used for the last year due to illness, as I have been unable to ride. I previously used it for special rides but didn't use it very much as I kept if for "best"! I have now bought a treeless saddle due to my hip condition. One of the pictures shows my horse, a 16.1hh TB/Andalusian, wearing the saddle. Under the flap can be found the markings "18", M/W, and . On the stirrup hook can be found "BS" and "M". It weighs lb or 7.87kg without stirrups or girth strap. Only the saddle is for sale, and it will be packed securely in a box. It can be collected from Gatehouse of Fleet, Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland, or posted. The price of £22 is for postage by ParcelForce 48, with suitable insurance cover, but the buyer is welcome to specify and pay for a different insured method (eg FedEx, UPS etc). I am reluctantly selling my retired mares saddle as it does not fit my other horses. It was made to measure for my 15.2hh TB who is high withered and narrow. You can see it has dropped panels to accommodate the wither area. It is in very good condition and has general scuffs that will buff out with cleaning. It is very comfortable and you feel very secure in the seat and knee areas due to the nubuck. It is flocked with white wool and the panel is even with a lovely wide gullet. There are 3 independent girth straps, the first being a point strap which I never needed to use as it fitted her so well. I think it would suit a horse with similar conformation.
