Bobby is an extremely handsome 16HH Irish Draft x 6 year old gelding with plenty of bone. He is liver chestnut with 3 white socks. This is a very honest advert for this special chap as I want to find the perfect home for him to continue his education. Bobby has 3 lovely balanced paces. I have done lots of ground work with him which he has taken in his stride. He has also been loose jumped proving to be bold and brave over fillers. I am in the process of backing him, he is walking and trotting working in a nice outline. I have also done a very small amount of canter work with someone lunging me. 16.2hh Irish daft x cob type Hunter for sale. 6 years old. Has hunted in Ireland and hound exercised with Sinnington Hunt Hounds. Proving to be very mannerly on the field taking it all in his stride. We havent owned Mr Mee aka Blue very long as was sold to me by a dealer who has now blocked me. I have found Blue to be a very kind but very nervous on the ground with people, however he has lovely manners, not bargy or bolshy at all. Just wary, but he gets to know you are not going to hurt him, he is lovely. He has only done very very basic schooling, not in a field but in a school enviroinment as feels worried schooling in a large open field on his own. But happy to ride in open fields without any bother, just schooling. He would make a fantastic Maxi cob with someone who can put the time in to school correctly, he is very athletic for a big horse, bouncy and good hock action. Unfortuneately he is not for me as i wanted a get on and go type. You can get legged up or from ground, needs patience at a block to get on. Time and patience is what this boy needs. He hacks out happily on his own or company and is very good in traffic. Been hacked out on own with my 12yrs Daughter atm. Good with farrier, groom, traffic, havent clipped him so wouldnt know and takes a minute to load in trailer or wagon. Dixie, approx 14.2 gelding aged 14. Ex riding school lad who I bought to hack out on but he is just wasted as I am struggling with my pelvis. He hacks alone but prefers company as will call but then just gets on with it. He enjoys exploring and you don't really need the reigns when he knows the route. Dix has obviously worked hard in his life so now deserves a quieter home but is not ready to retire yet, he certainly does not want to teach anymore. He would suit a mature lady who just wants to spuddle about with friends 2 or 3 times a week. Traffic doesn't phase this chap, he's forward going and a very comfortable ride.
