Thorowgood T8 Cob GP saddle black 17.5" XW/XXW

Brought this saddle for young horse who was growing and changing shape approximately a year and a half ago. Purchased as it was adjustable, but he has now levelled off and I'm buying a dressage saddle as this is the direction we are moving towards. Thorowgood advertise this saddle as a good all-round saddle for the rounder build and the low withered Cob-type horse. It has a medium depth seat is ideal for a range of riding activities and offers 4 girthing options to achieve maximum saddle stability. Synthetic underneath but has a quality leather seat and knee pads and gives the feel of riding on an all leather saddle. It is also flocked with 100% British wool. The saddle current is set with the yellow S bar gullet plate which equates to XW/XXW. I also have the white gullet plate - XW and the red gullet plate - W. The saddle has a small scuff on the pommel (see image), but other than that is in excellent condition. RRP £625 Will post at buyers expense and am open to sensible offers. Read More

8" D to D, medium fitting saddle with high wither. These saddles seem to suit Arab types, straighter cut to allow shoulder movement. Not made any more sadly and the newer ones don't come in 16.5", these saddles are quite hard to find now. This saddle hasn't had a lot of use so panels and seat are in excellent condition. Been sitting in tack room as a spare for years as it's a nice lightweight saddle for starting youngsters, so some of the rings are a little tarnished.
