***update on advert*** turns out the prop shaft has been bent slightly and will need straightened or replaced, engine is fine otherwise. And gearbox also fine. Owner of the yard where're it is stored(Balloch) has said a local engineer charges £80 to straighten, or an easier method also suggested by owner of boat yard is to replace gearbox completely with a second hand one that should be available for under 200 and far less work than taking out prop shaft to straighten. Welcome to the sale of my 14ft Glastron Speedboat type 318i Red Spirit. As you can see from the pictures she is in need of refurbishment. The plywood floor needs replacing for starters. See picture. However the hull and deck are in good undamaged condition. If I had the time I would refit this boat myself. Sadly I don't. The style of this boat is the same as the speedboats used in the chase sequence of the James Bond movie "Live and Let Die" although I wouldn't recommend using the boat the way they did in the movie.
