16 year Old 16hh TB Mare

I have decided to offer my mare for sale. She has been loaned for the last 18 months but the loaner cannot keep her on. I do not have the time for her as I have a poorly horse that currently needs a lot of rehabilitation work. She is an honest mare with a very kind nature. She has previously been used in a riding school but personally I would not class her as a novice ride as she prefers a quiet sensitive rider. She has hacked in the past, but for the last 18 months has just been riding in the sand school. Her schooling is coming along nicely but canter transitions require more work. She will try her heart out for you. Currently barefoot but when I was hacking her she was shod. She does windsuck and this is reflected in the price. 16hh 9 year old Weatherbys passported Thoroughbred mare. Tigs is a wonderful horse, who we have very reluctantly decided to offer for sale. She is 100% in traffic, and will hack out alone or in company. She is good to catch, clip, load & shoe. She is nicely schooled, and will happily pop a course of jumps. 16hh TB mare - fun,buzzy little horse!

This lovely mare has been with me for nearly two years doing ODE's, team jumping for BRC, County level showing (placed) etc. Does a beautiful dressage test. Ex ROR, so eleigible for those classes. Excellent manners, very easy to handle. Good to shoe, load, travel, clip etc. Schooled up to 100/novice level but competes at . NOT A NOVICE RIDE. She is snaffle mouthed on the flat but has a universal to jump in. Her flatwork is lovely, she has a very light, soft mouth however she is strong and quick to jump. When shes jumped regularly shes very good but if left she gets strong and rushes. Bombproof to hack, never spooky, will go first or last. Very bold XC. Two very nice saddles and decent wardrobe. Very sad sale of my tb mare. I bought her as an easy ride five months ago but she has not settled with me. I would suggest an experienced tb owner who is willing to take her back to basics. She has lost muscle tone as she has been out of regular ridden work for about 12 weeks. I have had her back done, teeth done and saddle bought and fitted to her to try to eliminate any issues. Ozzy (Ostaadi) is a gorgeous 16'2hh 10yro bay tb gelding, has raced so is ROR eligible. Oz is brilliant and absolutely everything I wanted in a horse, when I bought him he'd done absolutely nothing since racing however he has turned his hoof to everything I've asked! Schools nicely in the arena, will happily jump a course and I would say that he enjoys jumping the most. Hacks alone or in company and isn't phased in the heaviest of traffic, he's a very fun but sensible hack and loves nothing more than a good gallop. The only negatives I have is that he's a little grumpy on occasion (usually at feed time) he has NEVER bitten or kicked, he just pulls a bit of a face. Can weave on occasion. He's won over hurdles and second over fences, has a very natural athletic jump. He's a forward going but sensible ride, I took him to jersey and hacked him alone 2 miles to the beach and on the beach and he was foot perfect. DAVE. 16hh 8yo Tb gelding. Dave has very expressive paces and is very willing to learn. He would excel doing dressage although would equally be happy just hacking/ schooling. He loves work and ideally likes to be working 4+ times a week. He’s nervous around coloured poles and can be nappy when hacking alone although it’s nothing extravagant. Since coming out of racing in he hasn’t been competed, so is nervous/excited in groups of horses. Although I’ve ridden him with 3/4 other horses at a time and he’s been fine.
