She is 19 and I am looking for a hacking home rather than a competing/hunting home as whilst she loves to ride out, she has worked hard in her life and I feel would be too old to jump / compete now. I am selling my horse due to having an operation on my hand and not being able to ride him anymore. He evented over the last two years with a very good, experienced rider at 90 and 100. He was placed on several occasions. He loves being in work and is missing being ridden. Sadly due to my hand he is turned away in a field as I have no-one to ride him now as my friend moved back to Finland. 16hh 9 year old Weatherbys passported Thoroughbred mare. Tigs is a wonderful horse, who we have very reluctantly decided to offer for sale. She is 100% in traffic, and will hack out alone or in company. She is good to catch, clip, load & shoe. She is nicely schooled, and will happily pop a course of jumps. 'Arla' has been owned by me since a yearling. She is 3yrs old on . Her dam is a quality registered Welsh mare with Eppynt and Revel lines. Her sire is a 16hh appaloosa x TB stallion by the famous 'Champagne Charlie' and 'Amazing Blue' Arla has an amazing temperament, loves people and other horses. Not marish. She comes to call in the field, picks feet up regularly, stands tied, had rugs, tack, hi-viz, boots etc. She doesn't like the scary measuring stick quite yet, tho' will happily have small children run around and sit on her! She has had many walks in hand out on country roads / woodlands alone and in company. She has been introduced to coloured poles in the school and walks over them happily. She is good with traffic, the farrier, dentist, children and dogs. She also does a trick and trots on voice command. She does load but likes to think about it first! She is up to date with jabs, teeth and shoes. She is good to load, catch, clip and is ridden in a snaffle at all times.
