16hh Mare for share 2 or more days per week

Red (16hh) 11 year old, mare is for share 2+ days per week for someone over 18 who is mainly interested in hacking out but the occasional ride in the school is fine. I need an experienced and confident rider to help me to continue to build up reds confidence whilst out hacking. She is a sensible ride but no horse is 100% Please note there is NO jumping. She would also suit someone wanting to get back into riding. She is a lovely big girl who loves to hack with others but can be taken out alone when sharer is confident. Ideally someone who wants to actually spend time with her and love and groom her rather than just the riding side of things. She just needs more love and TLC as I work full time and also attend college I am struggling with spending the time with her that she deserves. At the moment no stable jobs need to be completed Monday-Friday but they do need to be done on weekend days. These include mucking out fresh water and hay but could potentially put her on unassisted in the future if it suits both me and sharer. Based on a lovely 5* friendly yard in St. Albans with helpful friendly staff and miles of off road hacking through heartwood forest and 3 riding arenas. The yard often host many group hacks on the riding school which are sometimes available to liveries at the cost of the sharer. 16hh Gentleman horse for sale

16hh, 16 year old riding horse for sale. Chester is a super gentleman, currently used as a hacking horse and we are looking for a similar home for him with somebody whom loves to spend time with their horse out in the countryside. He has had a varied career including western show horse, something I've never attempted but he has the skills! He can also jump but this is not something I've done a lot of with him. He has EXCEPTIONAL ground manners. He is calm, gentle and loves a fuss. Great to load, I have travelled him in both a trailer and horsebox by himself. Great to shoe and clip. A real confidence giver when out hacking. The type that is hard to find. Even if others are misbehaving he does not pay attention, isn't spooky. No issues with heavy farm traffic either. Quite large movement, lovely paces. Fine with dogs although has shown anxiety with packs of hounds so I do not want Chester to go to anyone whom would like a horse to hunt with as I think it would be an unrealistic expectation for him. Currently just shod on fronts as strong hind feet. Fully sound/up-to-date with all vaccinations. Tack available by separate negotiation. I am 50 and in my younger days used to show jump, before family life kicked in 30 years ago. For share Epsom 1/2 days a week for a confident and very competent rider my hh bay Thoroughbred mare. I would like someone to be able to help with schooling as I don't always have time and a bit of hacking. She is my world and I will be as honest as possible as I don't want anything to happen to her or anyone so please don't kid yourself she is not a novice ride and it has taken me a couple of years to get her where we are at now with regular lessons. When she works and stays focused and relaxed she is lovely to ride but she is a very highly strung horse who gets stressed easily so needs help and guidance to stay calm and relaxed if not she can become very strong and either bounce basically on the spot or run, breaks are there if you know how to use them.
