Handsome 16hh Grey TB Gelding 12 yrs old!

This Chap will be a star in the right, confident and experienced hands!!!!! He is beautiful to look at and has so much to give but sadly work commitments leave me with no time to do anything with him. Daniel raced in and after a short time he went on to do low level dressage. He is a super bright boy who absolutely loves to work. He is extremely bright, picks things up very fast and now NEEDS a job to do. He excels in flat work but has jumped a course of 2ft 6" fences with ease. Could be perfect for endurance also, I have ridden him 7-10 miles and he would happily carry on without even breaking a sweat! I did put him up for sale last year for a short period of time and then didn't have the heart to sell him, at that time I was asking £ including quality tack and rugs. He has now been out of work since Sept/Oct hence his price today. I have had to except that letting him go is the right thing for him as much as it breaks my heart. Home is absolutely the most important factor, he is not a novice ride and needs someone with lots of experience, time, energy and most of all confidence. Unfortunately I am losing confidence the older I get and the more he isn't worked and therefore I am doing him no good either. He is the type that needs consistency and regular work. 10 year old TB 16'2 TB Gelding

10 year old 16'2 TB Gelding. We have owned Felix for just over a year and have come to the conclusion that he needs a home that has more time for him. He has come a long way since we brought him but needs more work and we just don't have the time. He schools beautifully the way he carries himself is delightful he has three lovely paces and has a lovely fluid movement, I could imagine him doing a very nice dressage test. We have never taken him out competing and apart from popping him over a little jump in our school he hasn't done any jumping since we have owned him so can't really comment on his jumping ability. We are definitely what you would call a happy hacking home so haven’t taken him to shows. He is best when ridden frequently although last weekend we rode for the first time in 3 months and hacked on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday he was excited and it took longer than usual to tack him up and as soon as my husbands bottom was in the saddle he was jogging up the road! He jogged around and was generally very excitable so we only did road work. On the Sunday he was like a totally different horse, stood quietly to be tacked up, easy to mount and was cool as a cucumber so we went out for a good 2 hours and had 3 canters and a gallop. It was very pleasant hack. My husband and I mainly hack together which Felix does prefer but he has hacked alone and if he did it more I am sure he would settle much more quickly. We hack down fairly busy roads and he is fine, he does very occasionally do excited little bucks, not in nasty 'I am going to throw you off way' just I am excited and I want to go. Where he needs the most work still is on the ground he has a nervous disposition and will need a patient owner who has time to gain his trust. He isn’t at all nasty and does have stable manners he just gets nervous. We clipped him this weekend and we do it in stages so it takes 2 days rather than a few hours. He will stand to be groomed for 20 minutes and then gets fidgety, he takes longer than you average horse to tack up, nothing at all nasty he just has trust issues. He loads fine in either a box or trailer but doesn't like travelling alone, we tend to load him last and then out first to try and keep his mood as calm as possible. He can't be left in a field by himself or left on the yard by himself. He is good for the farrier and has never been lame or had any health problems. Up to date with jabs. I have decided to offer my mare for sale. She has been loaned for the last 18 months but the loaner cannot keep her on. I do not have the time for her as I have a poorly horse that currently needs a lot of rehabilitation work. She is an honest mare with a very kind nature. She has previously been used in a riding school but personally I would not class her as a novice ride as she prefers a quiet sensitive rider. She has hacked in the past, but for the last 18 months has just been riding in the sand school. Her schooling is coming along nicely but canter transitions require more work. Due to recently having a baby I am very sadly looking for a forever home for my 16hh, 9 year old thoroughbred gelding. Bertie is a beautiful boy with a lovely temperament who always wants to please. Due to a sad change in my circumstances my handsome boy needs a new home either as a project horse or a companion. He loves other horses and people and is happy to live out as he is surprisingly hardy for a TB! He has lovely ground manners and loves to be fussed. Lovely 7 year old gelding. 16.1hh. Ex racer. Last raced two years ago. Needs a calm, confident rider. I haven’t had him long as he’s too sharp for me and napping with me as I dont have the skills and confidence to manage him but he was happily hacking out with the previous owners on roads and she did some schooling but he would benefit from more education.
