Penny is an 8 year old TB mare. My daughter bought her in February this year after falling in love with her at first sight. The lady who we bought her from knew nothing about her past (strange) & said that she had done nothing with her? We have since found out that she spent 2 months in a race yard but she wasn't fast enough. She is a sweetheart - loving & kind. Can be mare-ish but hasn't a nasty bone in her body. She has become very attached to our other 2 ponies (2 old mares 20+ years each!!). She had a nasty accident 2 weeks after she came to us, involving barbed wire. 8 weeks of box rest & some scars on her back legs but no lasting damage and sound. Beautiful TB mare for sale as she is completely wasted at the moment as I just don't have enough time for her. Birdie raced 5 times so is eligible for RoR. She did some unaffiliated eventing and dressage with her previous owner.
