Sad Sale of a Genuine Gentleman Windie is a 16.1hh Irish TB. He raced in Devon up until April when he retired to a quieter life as a pet! Windie is gentle on the ground and a safe ride but needs retraining to be a riding horse. He has a lot of potential to be an amazing competitor as when racing, won both flat and hurdles in his career. Windie is happy to hack and school alone and to be in the field on his own but prefers company when stabled. He has turned out with mares and geldings. Up to date on worming, vaccinations and shoeing. Clean legs with no racing injuries. Windie is the character of the yard and has a range of funny faces and grins that he greets us with! Due to a change in circumstances Ive had to make the heartbreaking decision to sell my beautiful horse Tonto (Hurst Park). Tonto is 16.1hh Irish TB, 14 years old. He's up to date with worming and teeth. He has raced in the past as a national hunt horse so would be eligible for ROR. He is a very laid back chap who's very big hearted and easy to do. Ridden In a snaffle and sensible in open spaces. He is ridden regularly on the moor by a 14 year old girl. He will go in company first or last and also hack alone. He prefers a confident rider as although safe can be a bit spooky alone but never does anything silly! Tonto has hunted and is safe but excitable! He will go through rivers and jump ditches. He loves children and is very good with traffic and large farm machinery. He is polite to lead. Tonto has very good feet and never throws shoes, he is good for the farrier and to clip. He will load but can be hesitant, but always goes in. He prefers to travel in a lorry. I'm not in any hurry to sell this lovely horse and will not just sell to anyone! 15.3hh beautiful fine dapple grey mare. Weatherbys Registered 6 yrs old. Has raced so ROR allegeable, only raced a few times with no success. Finished racing sound and sane. Hacks alone and in company, first or last. She can be forward going but doesn't jog and always snaffle mouthed. She has started work in the school and is beginning to work in a nice outline in walk and trot, canter still needs a bit more work. She has a nice jump and has shown scope over both coloured and rustic obstacles. She hasn't bucked, reared, napped and isn't nasty/marish in anyway. She has good manners on the ground and is 100% box catch shoe load clip and happily turns out with both mares and geldings. She isn't spooky out hacking but will have a look if something is out of ordinary. She is good in all traffic.
