i am looking for anything between 15hh and 16.2hh. Any breed but not a TB. I would like something that is fun but reliable. Preferably a gelding but i would consider a mare if it was the right horse for me. I am 50 and in my younger days used to show jump, before family life kicked in 30 years ago. I have done some hacking and schooling work since, but I haven't ridden for 6 years and want to get back in the saddle. I am 16 stone so I'm looking for an Irish draught/part bred type horse over 16hh. I want a horse that will stand and is good in traffic, but doesn't get stupid in the field either as I'd like my nervous daughter to be able to ride him/her too.
