Sadly looking to put my 14hh gelding up for sale to a happy hacking home/companion home/light schooling home only. Teeth, feet, vaccinations, back checked and working all up to date! This sale is through no fault of his own, sadly a change in my current circumstances causes this sale. Looking for £500 and this will include bridle, and some rugs, head collar and saddle. Gerry is a 21 year old ISH he is an ex showjumper so is very quirky so don't let his age put you off. He loves to go out hacking for miles! Strictly no hard schooling/jumping etc as he has an old boy and I just want a happy life for him and quite frankly he isn't too keen on schooling. Gerry is a lovable boy but as a typical old man he can be grumpy! That is just how he is. There is no nastiness in him at all and trust him with my life! He does like to jog on the spot while our hacking sometimes but if you just chat to him this calms him down and he will go for a lovely walk. He walk, trots, canters and he will go for a gallop aswell. He can be a little girthy but there isn't anything nasty in it as I said or any health issues that's just him. He is great for vet, farrier, loading grooming etc. You need to be very experienced to ride Gerry as he can push your buttons sometimes. But he is 100% safe in all traffic! He does get excited in fields but that's cause he knows he can go for a blast. He is snaffle mouthed also. He has had winter off so will need brought back into work but it doesn't take much to do this. This is with a very heavy heart I am doing this and it's not being taken lightly so no time wasters please. I love this pony with all my heart and I just want what's best for him!
