Newly Broken, this lovely little mare has recently came home from being backed and ridden away, I sent her away due to lack of time with my 8month old baby now shes home I have realised I have no time for her but also have lost confidence to do so also. Since owning Dandy I have competed in all disciplines. He hacks out alone or in company, I have hunted him with the Grafton which he absolutely loved, he was happy and the front or the back and was more than happy to stand still at the meet. He is a bold xc jumper and has been unfazed by any sort of solid jump I’ve pointed him at. I have also competed him in showjumping up to 90cm, he is not as careful with the show jumps but he is not a stopper he is just green. He does need more schooling to improve his dressage. Much loved, been in family 25 years (although it was stored in garage for 18 of those years) We rescued Conni from her imprisonment and have used her for the last seven years once or twice a year, she is in extremely good nick for her age and has one tiny (easily repairable) wear mark by the jockey wheel. Wonderful TB X Connemara mare for sale!

Wonderful 15 year old mare for sale, would consider LWVTB but only local. This beautiful mare is looking for a her forever home, she is such a genuine mare and wouldn't hurt a fly. I have had her for a year now but my circumstances have changed and can no longer afford to own my own horse anymore. She is an ex show jumper and has been there and done it all. And is now wanting a happier quieter life. Not ready for retirement at all. Is as good as gold to turn out and bring in, (a dope on a rope). She can be a little spooky when hacking but won't ever be nasty. She can go into the school and work beautifully but defiantly loves a good run in the field and hacking. This is not a simple straightforward mare, I am looking for a the next honest home for her, She has had a rectum scan recently and has a hole in her rectum, this does not cause any problems for her at all. She is able to be ridden and worked perfectly. However This mare can not be used as a broodmare as this will complicate matters. I have been advised by the vet to keep her either on grass 24/7, and or on sugar beet alongside with Epsom salts. This is to help keep her droppings soft so that the hole in her rectum does not cause colic. Since I have tried this out I have had no problems at all.:) She does have a old wire injry on her left hind and a splint on her right hind. Again never ever caused any problems for me ever. She is perfect with her shoes and has very good solid feet. The farrier comes every 6 weeks for her. She is due her nextast vaccination (as had to start them again) on the 26th October. She is perfect for the vet, dentist and farrier. Does not blink an eye. Please this is a very sad sale and don't want any time wasters.
