14HH 13YO CONNEMARA MARE

Lilla is a 14hh 13yo registered Connemara Mare. Although only being 14hh she carries herself like a 15.2 and can easily keep up with the thoroughbreds. We have owned Lilla for just over 2 years now and in the first 18 months we competed regularly at all pony club events and local shows successfully. However we have found that due to stress of competitions Lilla no longer enjoys the show ring. There is nothing physically wrong with Lilla as we have had back checks, vet checks, saddles/tack checks and dental checks. She is a happy hacker and loves fun rides and cross country. She hunted with previous owner however we have not hunted her but we are sure she would love this. She is a very good doer and would keep going all day long so would suit endurance. Wonderful TB X Connemara mare for sale!

Wonderful 15 year old mare for sale, would consider LWVTB but only local. This beautiful mare is looking for a her forever home, she is such a genuine mare and wouldn't hurt a fly. I have had her for a year now but my circumstances have changed and can no longer afford to own my own horse anymore. She is an ex show jumper and has been there and done it all. And is now wanting a happier quieter life. Not ready for retirement at all. Is as good as gold to turn out and bring in, (a dope on a rope). She can be a little spooky when hacking but won't ever be nasty. She can go into the school and work beautifully but defiantly loves a good run in the field and hacking. This is not a simple straightforward mare, I am looking for a the next honest home for her, She has had a rectum scan recently and has a hole in her rectum, this does not cause any problems for her at all. She is able to be ridden and worked perfectly. However This mare can not be used as a broodmare as this will complicate matters. I have been advised by the vet to keep her either on grass 24/7, and or on sugar beet alongside with Epsom salts. This is to help keep her droppings soft so that the hole in her rectum does not cause colic. Since I have tried this out I have had no problems at all.:) She does have a old wire injry on her left hind and a splint on her right hind. Again never ever caused any problems for me ever. She is perfect with her shoes and has very good solid feet. The farrier comes every 6 weeks for her. She is due her nextast vaccination (as had to start them again) on the 26th October. Luna is very laid back and calm and loves people. She is willing to please and will give anything a go, she has a great attitude to work. She is very safe and easy to handle, has very good stable manners and loves attention. Very patient so will stand for hours to be fussed and groomed. She can be more on the lazy side when being ridden so is more suited to the rider that prefers a ride that needs firm encouragement rather than something that needs holding back. She is 18 years young however Dotty would suit a quiet home, where she will be loved and pampered, with light hacking out with another horse and preferably no jumping. Breeze is a super fun chunky 14hh 7 year old Connemara x mare,who would make a perfect mother/daughter share, rider in photos is 5'9". Harper is a 14yo 14hh Connemara mare. It's with a heavy heart that I'm selling this lovely lady, due to no fault of her own. With four children and busy family life I just don't have enough time to dedicate to her. Due to lack of time she has just been turned out in the field for most of the winter so needs bring back into full time work. Just recently I have started hacking out. She would make an ideal SUMMER PROJECT for someone. She has done a bit of everything with her previous owner so the potential is there for someone that has the time to bring her back into full time work. Eye catching 14hh Arabian Connie cross. Very brave and honest, 110% bombproof, only for sale due to me needing something bigger and with more potential. At home I've been schooling him over 1.25m and he jumps it without second thought. Brilliant in all disciplines and goes into an outline with no bother when schooled regularly. Pops round a course of cross country jumps with no issues and you can put all your trust in him and he'll look after you without a doubt. He jumps courses of 80cm/90cm with no refusals or reluctance, has the scope to go much higher I've just never had the chance as I've only recently got all my confidence.
