hh Bay TB Gelding 10yrs in Doncaster

Very handsome TB gelding, 10 years old, has raced and is ROR eligible. Hacks out in any traffic, never bats an eyelid - I have ridden this horse down an industrial estate and he didn't notice! Will hack alone or with company with no issues. His schooling does need work, he is fabulous in walk and trot, just needs strengthening and balancing to get his canter correct. I have taken him to a few dressage tests and he is always placed. Has a great jump on him and has successfully competed SJ in the past however this has not been my focus with him. He is a truly lovely horse who always tries his best to please, only for sale due to my increasing work commitments following finishing my degree and I am struggling to do justice to two horses. Has been seen to windsuck in his stable, but not frequently and never caused him a problem. He will come with all his tack and rugs.

Alfie 15.2hh Fresian x TB between 5-7years old Dark brown/black Alfie is for sale as a project as he was advertised as a riding and quiet and was only unsuitable for novices because he was earshy but unfortunately that was not true. Alfie's good points: He is a beautiful boy with lovely paces, as seen through lunging. He can be very gentle in the stable and loves a cuddle Loves to be groomed and pampered Has great prospect with the right home He is a lovely character and really wants to try and please and be gentle Alfies riding history: When viewing Alfie, excuses were made about a saddle not being available and so on, so I did not see him ridden. But I was shown pictures and a very short video. When trying to ride him at current yard, he wouldn't stand at the mountain block and when getting on, I was barely in the saddle before he bolted off and bronced me off. This happened another time before I got a second opinion and it was found that at the time he had sore back but since then he has had his teeth, back, tack and feet checked and he is sound. I haven't however tried to ride him as he has shattered my confidence. Other information: Alfie can be very strong and will take advantage sometimes. He is very spooky and wary of his surroundings. He has seperation anxiety and will act up if left alone in a field or if he can not see other horses. Alfie needs an experienced, knowledgeable, forever home with someone who can give him the time, patience and dedication to take him right back to basics. It was thought that the problems that Alfie has, has been through his previous homes. Since being injured from being thrown off and just not having the knowledge, I cannot give him the home he needs. Troy (Lucky Zulu) is a 16.1 TB x Cob Bay gelding. He has hunted with the Southern Shires Bloodhounds, where he looked after me on my first hunt. I believe he has also hunted on the new forest with a previous owner. Troy loves cross country and is very honest with a big, bold jump. He is also great through water. He has taken part in hunter trials with a previous owner. Troy has also taken part in lots of different riding club activities including adult/pony club camp, sponsored rides, fancy dress rides, showjumping competitions, ODE and pub rides. He is great to hack in company, which he prefers, but will hack alone with a competent rider. I would say that he is not a novice ride,however,as can have the odd spook. Kody is sadly for sale due to rider having lost confidence after having a child. Kody is 8 yrs but is very green and low mileage. I have owned him for 5 yrs and making the decision to find him a new home has been difficult but he is simply wasted in his current home. Kody has trained but never raced. He is very charasmatic and is great with kids. No stable vices and good to show/clip/load and with dentist. Kody has proven to be a quick learner in the school and has become more level and balanced in all 3 paces and proven he can work in a nice outline but needs bringing back into work. Kody seems to enjoy jumping and has shown to have good scope but again he is very green. Previously Kody has would happily go out alone but has only been hacked out in company for the last 3 years and therefore time would need to be spent working on building his confidence on his own again. He is Good in traffic and around heavy farm machinery. He is a TB and very occasionally can be sharp and can put in some bucks (never bucked whilst out but can have a silly spook) never reared or bolted. Our adorable pony is well schooled, has great paces is easy to ride and is for sale due to being outgrown by my daughter. He has many years left in him and looks amazing. He really is up for anything, he is excellent in the heaviest of traffic including lorries, double deckers, combine harvesters, skip lorries etc. He hacks alone perfectly either by himself or with company, he competes regularly and does well in Working Hunter Classes, Showing, Xcountry, Showjumping, Dressage, Hunter trials, Long Distant rides, ODE and has been attending PC for the last three years including rallies and 4 day camp and area dressage. Currently jumping any height up to 2'6" maximum. Happy to go through water. Happy to be first or last. He will stand tied up to a trailor all day or can be happily left inside a trailor at shows. He always does well at shows and in the ribbons. Happy to be ridden bareback. He is excellent to catch, trim, pulling mane, bath, lunge, load, clip, worm, farrier and is up to date with worming, teeth, vaccinations and back. He does not barge and is happy to be sprayed with flyspray etc. Lives in or out alone or in company with mares or geldings. Happy to be in a stable on straw or shavings. Happy to have dry or wet hay. He has front shoes on every 5-6 weeks to keep his toes short. Has not lost a shoe since we have owned him. Excellent with electric fencing. He does not particularly like his girth being done up but if you speak to him before you do it he is usually fine. Brilliant with sheep chickens dogs etc. He is looking for a confident lightweight adult / child / teenager to enjoy his fun loving, cheeky character. I have also ridden him but I am too heavy. I am 5'6" and easily suits my height as he is a hunter type. His breeding is unknown. He can be a novice ride on the lead rein as my Daughter started off on the lead rein with him but would not suit a total novice off the read rein as he can be a bit cheeky and put in the odd titchy little buck which is easy to sit and not nasty in anyway (he would not do this with an adult or teenager). He is very happy to adapt to the level of any rider. He has been part of our life for 3 years and the previous owner for 10years (we still keep in contact with them). Have loads of photos and videos. I am genuinely an honest person and keep in contact with our last pony that we sold three years ago and would like to do the same with whoever buys our lovely Brambles. He comes with a very good quality snaffle bridle, saddle, rugs etc. He has slight arthritis in his near fore foot but does not normally need any treatment and this does not affect him. He would also be perfect for a mother / daughter share or an adult who wants to have fun hacking and having a go at anything as he can carry up to stone. Happy to answer any questions at all but hopefully I have detailed everything in this advert This is a very difficult decision for my 11 year old daughter. A five star loving home is far more important than price for handsome pony. We are based on the Essex / Suffolk border..
