15 hh 4 year old piebald cob who needs bringing on as I'm unable to continue myself because of old back injury. I've done a lot of ground work and he's been lightly lunged and had tack on and is good with farrier and loads fine. Loves to be fussed and groomed he's been wormed and has his passport. hh 8yr old Piebald Cob Type Gelding ‘Rio’ A fun ride Rio has done a little bit of everything including training clinics, jumping, beach rides, hacking and school work. Will happily take and respond to an experienced rider or is safe enough for children to have a play on in the school. Works in the school in all 3 paces, still with room for improvement in his way of going as is not a school master. Enjoys his jumping staying sane and sensible. Hacking out he is faultless alone or in company, he is excellent in all traffic not fazed by farm machinery/lorries etc. Ridden wise this pony is cracking and offers a lot of fun to any potential new owner. On the ground he requires consistent, firm but fair handling, without it he has shown the ability to take advantage becoming difficult to lead etc so in this sense he not suited to a novice. However once he knows the score he is no problem. Happy to fully discuss as priority is to find him the right home. Good to shoe, catch, clip and load. Alfie 15.2hh Fresian x TB between 5-7years old Dark brown/black Alfie is for sale as a project as he was advertised as a riding and quiet and was only unsuitable for novices because he was earshy but unfortunately that was not true. Alfie's good points: He is a beautiful boy with lovely paces, as seen through lunging. He can be very gentle in the stable and loves a cuddle Loves to be groomed and pampered Has great prospect with the right home He is a lovely character and really wants to try and please and be gentle Alfies riding history: When viewing Alfie, excuses were made about a saddle not being available and so on, so I did not see him ridden. But I was shown pictures and a very short video. When trying to ride him at current yard, he wouldn't stand at the mountain block and when getting on, I was barely in the saddle before he bolted off and bronced me off. This happened another time before I got a second opinion and it was found that at the time he had sore back but since then he has had his teeth, back, tack and feet checked and he is sound. I haven't however tried to ride him as he has shattered my confidence. Other information: Alfie can be very strong and will take advantage sometimes. He is very spooky and wary of his surroundings. He has seperation anxiety and will act up if left alone in a field or if he can not see other horses. Alfie needs an experienced, knowledgeable, forever home with someone who can give him the time, patience and dedication to take him right back to basics. It was thought that the problems that Alfie has, has been through his previous homes. Since being injured from being thrown off and just not having the knowledge, I cannot give him the home he needs.
