15hh Heavy cob 12yo mare in Airdrie

Lucy is a beautiful big girl. Used as a broodmare until i got her. Ive owned Lucy for over a year now and shes came so far. She now comes when called, needs a scoop to catch her but she comes right upto you, picks up her front feet but still nervous about her back legs and pulls them away. Good to load and cheap to keep. Bonnie 14h cob mare happy hack bombproof

Bonnie is a 14h 7yo compact leg at each corner cob mare with a small neat head, apple bottom and feathers from her knees that cover her hooves. Any cob lovers dream! Although she looks equally fabulous clipped out and hogged as can be seen in the photos. She is 110% in all traffic out hacking and is a fun forward going ride without being on her toes. She has been mainly ridden alone but doesn't hot up in company or in open fields. She also has a cracking jump on her and nice paces in the school, although she hasn't done a great deal of schooling or jumping in her current home. This little star has given her nervous rider the confidence to now move on from happy hacking to try her hand at some local shows with a slightly bigger horse, something she didn't think she would be doing again when she first got Bonnie! I'm selling her as she was sold to me as suitable for novice/nervous rider. Sadly she needs a confident, experienced rider to fulfill her potential as she has not had much done with her. She walks, trots and canters, under saddle and is showing a natural aptitude to jumping. However she is very green and needs someone confidence to bring out the best however I'm am not. She's been hacked out both alone and with another horse and has been fine, not shown any fear of objects, can call to others but other than being a little excited at the start was safe. Please do not contact me or book a viewing if you are nervous, a novice or you want something for your gran to ride as she will be unsuitable! This is a cracking horse, but i cannot sell her as a nervous or novice rider's horse, which is what she was sold as! Would make a cracking jumping or pony club pony for someone who has the time and knowledge to put into her. Sadly I have neither. Currently has been unridden for a few weeks as no rider for her.

This is a wonderful mare who when she first came to me she was a proven brood mare but was empty She was in handled but followed us around like a sheep that was 3 years ago I am lead to belive she is poss nearly blind in one eye Apart from aproching her on her good side to catch this doesn't effect her she is apx 13years old We have ridden her and wasn't worried never bucket or reared.Running away was her only issue I didn't carry on her education but I'm sure would enjoy being brought back into work, she has fantastic movements she's very well breed iput her into foal,she had a foal 15 months ago Who I retained but no my daughter has given up this mare has no future with us.It will break our hearts to see her go so 5* home will be vetted.this mare has welsh passport and is worth her weight on gold.
