Very lovely iron/dapple grey mare, quiet, good bone. Stands about 16.2, turned five early September. Bought wild from a herd as a project, but just dont have the time to break/bring on. Bought specifically to do side saddle and three day event with. Now halter broken, used to daily stable life, will lead, have rugs on, (still working on back feet) not a mean horse, always the lowest in the herd despite her size!! Very green and uneducated, but brave and bold to investigate. One heck of a jump on her! She jumped four & 1/2 foot stock fence, but by accident I think, but wont jump electric tape. Due to working full time I'm selling my 6yr old piebald cob gelding, he has the sweetest nature, he has been backed but needs bringing on, he is a nervous guy, I haven't measured him lately but he must be about 15hh.

14.1hh Black Cob 6yr Old Mare

Peanut is a lovely girl who has come to us from a farm family. She had x2 foals with the previous owners and was backed as a 3yr old via the children (11 and 13) who used to lightly ride her around their farm. She was then a mum to x2 lovely fillies and then came to us as the family didnt want to breed anymore and Peanut was not doing anything. She hadnt seen road traffic till she came to us so we tie her up daily by the side of the main road to help her desensitize herself which is working wonders. We dont have light traffic here, its trains, double deckers, artics and town centre traffic which she is ridden through daily alone and in company. She is now good with drains and white lines, which she obviously hadnt seen previously. She will stand all day to be groomed and bathed and will happily ride in our field amongst our other horses with no problem. She will load onto any trailer or lorry. She can be a problem to catch in a big field but shes not too bad in our 2 acre. She is used to being in an electric paddock and is fine. She is good to tack up but is learning to stand still whilst mounting. At present she is better when someone stands at her head....we like them to stand solid whilst being mounted alone so this will take time. We are certain she will go on to make a fantastic fun cob for all the family but she will need to go to someone who will continue her education especially on the roads purely due to her greeness in this area. We always describe our cobs honestly and anyone who comes to view her will be happy with her i would just prefer to be open so as to not get the wrong person. She is barefoot and trimmed and has been wormed and back checked. She is a great weight carrying cob who will go onto great things. Not bothered by dogs, kids, chickens but although shes 6 i would describe her like a 4yr old who needs to further her education. Open to any vet. Tack availabe by seperate negotiation. Read More

Cob X friesian mare 15.3hh 5 years old *project horse* in

This is bonnie, I bought her a year ago as a wild pony I was told came from the new forest and hadn't been touched. The lady I bought her from had her for a year before I bought her but didn't do much work with her. I spent a lot of time in the summer with her and managed to fight with her to get a head collar and lead rope on (by fight I mean it took 3 men to get it on.) On the lead rope she is fine and after a bit of encouragement she will let you touch her. However, off the lead rope she is pretty much completely wild. You can't get more than 3 feet to her, she hates anyone being in a stable with her. I made quite a bit of progress with her over summer however I really don't have the time for her anymore and she is coming up 5 this year and I don't want time to run out for her simply because I don't have the time. She is the most challenging horse I've ever had and I've been around horses my whole life and worked with very difficult horses before. I'm not going to lie and try and dress it up. She will take a lot of work, but she is a beautiful horse and does have a kind nature. She has never reared or tried to hurt me in anyway before. If you are still interested please give me a phone

Saluki x greyhound 6yr old needs new home in Barnsley

This is Sam he's 6yr old I have split from my partner and I'm finding it difficult to care for him, he's grown up around children I have a 12yr old n a 3yr old who he's great with he's great with other dogs n loves a good chase he as a great recall and has no problem on lead, he loves a good run once a day but is generally happy to lounge around rest of time, he as grown up with a cat that he's ok with they are generally kept apart but I wouldn't trust him with any other cat, he's chipped and naurtured he his crate trained if needed, he's never been worked so would be more suited to someone that wants a family pet, I think I've covered everything but if you have any questions pls ask I'm not.
