14.2hh Pure Bred Connemara Mare

Monroe Beauty Absolutely stunning true to type 14.2hh 5yr old Connemara mare by Kippure Alkatraz. Muffin has beautiful athletic paces and a bold scopey jump, she has true to type conformation and a beautiful little head. Muffin has been broken and produced slowly over time, she is now nicely established in her walk and trot, she has a fabulous powerful canter but this still requires a little more work on the flat. Round a course of fences Muffin is brave and bold, she has a good technique over a fence which ensures that she would excel as a working hunter pony. We have also jumped Muffin over cross country fences, she happily jumps logs, barrels, tyres, hedges and goes through water. Out hacking Muffin will go alone or in company and first or last when in a group. She is stabled on a working farm so she isn't phased by tractors, lorries, buses, bikes and she stands at traffic lights/ junctions on the road. On an open field she will canter in a group without getting strong or silly, she will pull up easily and then walk after a gallop without jogging home. In my opinion Muffin is good enough to go to the top in county level workers with some more work, I would love to see her excel in this area. Alternatively she is happy enough to just go for a quiet hack once a week. She will suit a number of different riders although I wouldn't choose for her to go to a complete novice as I think she has a lot to offer. Striking 14.1hh Welsh Part Bred Mare in Ferndale

Trefriw Pollyanna is a 14.1 hh, seven year old registered Welsh Part-Bred mare. Polly, who we have owned for over three years, is my 13 year old son's pony, and the two of them have had lots of fun together regularly hacking out and going on beach rides, fun rides, two outings to the Badminton Fun Ride and three seasons of trail hunting. My son has ridden her on an at least weekly basis since he was ten years of age and Polly really has seen it all. Polly is for sale only because my son has outgrown her, and as this is an upsetting sale, please no time wasters. Polly is a striking pony, but is not a novice ride, since though safe and reliable, she is forward going. She would suit a confident youngster or small adult. Polly has not competed with us, but she enjoys jumping, and with the right owner would make a good jumping pony as she is fast, nippy and very clever. Polly will live in or out. Polly is excellent to catch, shoe and box, and is happy to travel alone, which she has done for us on a number of occasions. She enjoys being fussed, and is wonderful to clip, wash, groom and have her mane pulled. A good home is more important than price, so the sale price quoted is negotiable. We would also consider selling Polly's tack and rugs if wanted.
