GP 14 Sailing Dinghy with combi trailer

Eye-catching wooden boat in good repair for age. The GP14 class has been around since the late 's, and is equally at home on inland or sheltered coastal waters. GP stands for General Purpose, and that's exactly what they are. Hull paint and deck varnish in sound condition, with some variation in varnish colour, and internal varnish and raised floor non-slip deck paint is very serviceable. The boat is ready to use and enjoy for the season. Aluminium mast and boom, with kicker and horse mainsheet. Standing and running rigging in good order. Lifting wooden centreboard and rudder with aluminium tiller and extension. There are three mainsails, one with a non matching number is still pretty stiff and crinkly, with a jib and a genoa in similar condition. The other two are nothing to write home about, although one, again with a non matching number has 2 sets of reefing points and a flotation envelope at the head. I have not tried to use it There is a spinnaker, with yet another number, and pole, although the control lines and blocks etc are not fitted, and may not all be there. For storage protection an aged mast-up boat cover in working condition is included, with a small amount of damage around the rudder pintle. The no braked combination trailer and launching trolley is definitely not new, but the tyres and wheel bearings are in good condition, and the road axles are on isolastic type suspension units. The steel chassis are galvanised, and show no sign of corrosion. There is no safety chain/cable, so you may like to fashion your own, and there is no lighting board. There are 2 elderly life-jackets (not buoyancy aids), which can be manually inflated, or gas operated, but one has no CO2 cartridge, but are easy to obtain and replace. This boat is a Selway Fisher designed Swamcott dory. Its a very stable boat, ideal for raids, and family sailing. Its ready to sail, and comes with good quality bespoke sails, breathable cover, anchor, built in buoyancy compartments, with hatches, so can be used for storage, and a bolt on outboard engine bracket. This 10 foot simulated clinker fibreglass lug sailing dinghy is requiring considerable restoration, the main hull is OK, the associated woodwork has rotted, but there is enough wood to make patterns, the gunnel rubber is I think intact, the trailer could be resurrected although the ball coupling has rotted off, I have the mast, rudder and sail which maybe OK or used for a pattern, I think its very likely known as a Yellow Wheel, used as a fun accessory to a Broads Hire boat, It will all need to be collected on a trailer/ flatbed. Selling a 14 foot Dinghy and launch trailer which I bought with the intention of renovating. Like many other jobs, I just never got round to it, so it must go! I'm not sure exactly what Dinghy it actually is, but I am told it may be a '420'. It has a plaque with 'Rondar Boats' of New Milton, Hants written on it. Boat serial Number is , from mould number 3. It is in need of renovation, but has no serious damage to the hull. It has had fibreglass repairs done (badly) in the past, and these would probably best be started again. All the stainless steel shrouds are included, and some of the ropes probably need replacing. Tiller, Centre board, 2 main sails and a jib included. This would be an ideal winter renovation project for someone who likes tinkering with boats. I am also selling the main components for a road trailer, which I purchased new. Classic Enterprise sailing dinghy with trailer

Classic wooden enterprise sailing dinghy. Was used last season, but now in need of a little TLC. She is an old boat and I have tried to show her condition in the photos. I don't have the skills or the time to do the repairs. Comes with main sail, jib sail (both in good conditions), cover, rudder, tiller and trailer (but not the launching trolley shown in the photos).
