Lovely Allrounder 13hh Pony

Heidi is a fun and talented little mare. She is suited for all aspects of family life however is now totally wasted with us. We think she would benefit from going to a loving home where she can be used and enjoyed. Since she has been with us she has taken part in lots of activities including including flatwork, showjumping and cross country lessons, beach rides, mounted games competitions, polocrosse and even pony racing training and one pony race! She is so versatile and can turn her hoof to absolutely anything. Heidi is very easy to load in a trailer or lorry. She is brilliant to catch. Great with farrier and is currently unshod as she has such good feet. She has never been sick or sorry and no laminitis. All her vaccinations are up to date. She is never spooky and currently lives out with a gelding as a field companion. She was in her previous home for over 4 years where they excelled at dressage together. She loves hacking and fun rides and is pretty bombproof when out as she doesn't look at anything. Heidi is the first pony I have allowed my 11 year old to hack out alone with. She is very easy to work with and my 11 year old brings her in from the field, tacks up alone and then returns her to the field when he is finished. We are looking for a knowledgeable home for her as she is much loved and we think she has lots of potential. ***REDUCED FROM £***Tonto (which is Portuguese for idiot). Is an amazing little pony. He will love you unconditionally if there is food in your hand. He will roll in dirt five minutes after you groom him and he will clamp his mouth shut when he sees his bridle. However, he will take care of your child when they are on his back, he will do as your child asks especially if they have polos in their pocket. He is good with the farrier, he doesn't complain about the dentist, he will even tolerate a vet with good grace. He doesn't like the taste of wormer but will suffer it in silence. He is easier to walk than our dogs. When he is hacking out alone he will behave himself but will insist on shouting out to all the horses he passes. Hes friendly like that. In a group he suddenly thinks hes a thoroughbred, not in behaviour but his little legs will carry him as fast as they can (which is pretty fast) to keep up. Actually I am sure hes passed some retired racehorses in his time. He likes to jump but he isn't very good at it, anything bigger than a baby bounce and he feels he should go through it. When we have taken him to local shows hes behaved impeccably and usually places in the cob classes. Everyone who meets him loves him. His eight year old owner says that "Hes a teaching pony and its time that he taught someone else". I say he is a mothers dream, or would suit a small adult who wants something safe. Read more

I'm looking for a sharer for my little gem of a pony. he has recently been backed so still green in areas but an extremely willing and fast learning pony. he has established walk, trot and canter (although canter is still a bit unbalanced) also pops a jumps with a good ping to him:-) he is also good to hack, very straight and forward.
