A stunning pony by Heaton Romeo who has been shown in hand and as a lead rein. He has taught my 3 children to ride on lead rein and then off lead rein out hacking, but he is not a first ridden pony in the school or at events as can get strong, excited and pop in a buck. He would suit a confident older child or small adult as the rider needs to get him going forward and work him properly. He has been schooled for showing and can canter on command but with us he has been primarily used to hack. An absolute darling to handle at home, good to loads, good with vet and farrier, has no health issues. All vaccinations and teeth up to date (April ) and only has front shoes (goes bare foot in the winter when we do less road work). Lives out most of the winter (until our ground can’t cope) and then in at night/ out by day (rugged part of the winter). Pillheath Santana (aka Bruno for short) is a 4 year old Welsh pony Section B Gelding standing 13hh and registered. He is the first to come out of the field, very friendly and inquisitive. He is turned out year round and has a good winter coat. He will come with his rain and cold weather turnout rug but will need a new thick winter turnout rug. He is happy when the farrier visits him and loves a good brush. Bruno respects fences and is not skittish of cars, but doesnt like little yapping dogs to much. He has a friendly personality, and the kids in the village love to give him a pet. He has a big endearing personality. Bruno was bought as a project for my wife so that she could train him further and advance her skills, however after having him a week, we found out we were expecting and have been trying to juggle having the horses, but we have had to be realistic and feel they deserve a home where they can get some more attention. Striking 5 year old section B gelding standing at 12.3hh. Exceptional mover with 3 very flashy paces. Handled daily by small 8 year old. Has proven to be fantastic both on the lead rein and off however could benefit from further schooling as is green due to age. Loves to jump and could make a cracking BSJA pony with the right jockey. Llwynhywel Golden Gamble aka Rupert 2 year old gelding, I have had him just over a year however he needs more time than I can commit to him. He's up to date with his vaccines and is wormed. He has come on leaps and bounds since being with me. He was very nervous when I bought him as he hadn't been handled much but he is such a loving boy now. He is the first to come to you in the field, stands to be brushed. I can muck out his stable whilst he is in there and he doesn't bat an eyelid. We have been to a couple of agility sessions which has helped with his confidence. He loads into a trailer and has had the farrier which he doesn't mind now. As he is 2 he hasn't seen much traffic. I think he would need some time spent introducing him to this to get him completely sure about moving noisy objects, but after all he is only 2! Very handsome and would defiantly show. With a very heavy heart I am writing this. I have decided to come to the heart breaking decision to sell my lovely 6 Year old welsh section D gelding, Thunder. Thunder is good to load, catch and with the farrier. Last year he was lightly broken taking it all in his stride, I turned him away for the winter but due to work commitments and moving house I no longer have the time he needs to bring him back into work. He has such a lovely character and always willing to please. He is perfect to lunge and I have started to sit on him in the stable and he is fine so wouldn't take much to get him going again. He comes with bridle and rugs. I think in the right hands he would make a lovely workers pony or hunting pony as he's got a good jump on him.
