She has been loaned by a confident teenager for the past year and will do absolutely anything to please her rider once she gets to know you. hh As genuine as they come, but full of personality. This friendly confident mare just loves human interaction. So easy to do. Everything i've thrown at her she's just taken all in her stride. She was broken in the early spring. She hacks out alone or in company, happily goes first or last or right in the middle. Doesn't get fizzy even in open grounds or whilst others are galloping off ahead. Soft mouthed and responsive to aids. Has nice active paces. Currently walking, trotting and cantering under saddle however green in her schooling, it's mainly just hacking work she's done. Has popped a log out hacking with no hesitation, showing great balance and carefulness, didn't even get silly. Passes heavy traffic out hacking (videos can be seen). Easy to handle, mount, bath, farrier, load/travel, worm etc. Used to other animals, regularly goes hacking with my GSD dog running alongside (even on the beach). Goes into river or sea when asked. Loose jumped 3ft. Has lived out or in. Can be left for weeks and you can just jump back onto her with no difference. Ridden bareback through the fields of other horses. Tacked up loose in field, as will come away from other horses (doesn't stress, not mare ish at all). This mare is so sweet and genuine she really hasn't put a foot out of place. Not suitable for complete novices/nervous riders only because of her age, being so young i would love to see her fulfil her potential and wouldn't like her to pick up bad habits etc. Only for sale as too small for myself. Sadly for sale Mount Pleasant Super Ted aka Teddy - I bought Teddy 9 weeks ago for my 11 year old daughter as she had outgrew her amazing section a - unfortunately Teddy is much greener than first thought and has struggled to settle on our very big busy yard which includes a riding school, feed shop, fishing lake, caravan storage, tack shop and karate dojo so it's an extremely noisy busy environment. Teddy is absolutely stunning and works in a natural outline and has very showy paces. Teddy is very green and hasnt done anywhere near as much work as described at purchase. He needs an experienced show pony home where he can gain confidence and realise his full potential. Teddy is one to be produced for next season and he will bring home the ribbons without a doubt. Teddy would benefit from being on a small yard without all the distractions of a busy yard. Teddy is in a happy mouth bit and is used to being ridden off the leg rather than hands, he can be spooky to ride (he wasn't when we viewed him on a very small yard) when there are lots of things happening around him but nothing that a confident light weight jocky couldn't handle unfortunately my daughter doesn't have the confidence or the knowledge to push him through this. 12'2 bay mare 7yo show pony / child's fun pony in Romsey

Stunning 7 year old bay mare. Welsh C X New Forest. Super little pony who will excel in any sphere. She has had a very successful showing season this year, rides a beautiful dressage test and is a very keen jumper. She will stand happily all day at a show eating her hay. This pony is forward going and needs a confident little rider but is so much fun. She has hunted with previous owner but not with us. Great to hack out, not phased by busy traffic. An exceptional 13hh show pony for sale due to lack of interest from my daughter chatty is a cracking pony I had her broken early this year and my daughter has rode her also started off lead rein and was fab. She is a show pony so can be a little sharp but with the right competent rider she would really excel in the show ring. Highland Pony Mare

For Sale. It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this advert. Brook (Erray Burdock) is 5 years old, 14hh and I have owned her for 2 years. I bought her as an unhandled 3 year old direct from Erray Highland Ponies. Brook has been very much my baby, being the first pony I have brought on from scratch and her wonderful temperament has made it a very easy process. Brook is a very easy, straight forward pony, she turns out with mares or geldings and doesn’t mind being left on her own, she will happily be stabled if needs be and is not at all mareish. She is a lovely, gentle girl who is easy to catch, good with the farrier and vet, to bath, load and travel but she has never been clipped. Brook was backed in spring and spent the year hacking out from home, mainly on her own. She has also been out to several clinics and lessons and been in group lessons indoors & out. She has also trailered out to meet others for hacks and recently qualified for Blair Novice Ridden. She is very easy to take to shows and has had lovely positive comments from judges. Brook is good with lighter traffic when on her own but needs the reassurance of another horse with her to cope with heavy traffic. She is used to quads and tractors but to hack any distance I have to go on busy roads which is the only reason I am parting with her as I don’t have anyone to ride with & I have an older pony who is great in any traffic. In company she has been through villages and also over a level crossing when the barriers came down and she didn’t bat an eyelid. She is a responsive ride but not strong or overly forward going, she has never bucked, reared or done anything under saddle to worry me at all and I am not the most confident. Brook has never been sick or sorry and has no sign of sweet itch. Due to her age she is still green in the school but is a lovely, quiet and genuine pony. She has lovely, free movement and is straight and correct. Brook is extremely special to me and will only go to the right home, this is an extremely hard decision, genuine easy ponies like her do not come along often.
