Handsome dark bay Welsh Section C Gelding, 13.3hh, 7 years

Bryn is a lovely pony with fantastic paces, he will excel at his flatwork and jumps well too. He is ready to move on in his training and will be a rewarding experience for someone who is assured and kind. Ridden in a snaffle and goes in a nice outline, he would be a super ride for a small adult who wants to take part in Riding Club activities. He has never bucked, reared, bolted, kicked or bitten. Excellent in traffic, including farm machinery, however he is not suitable for a novice as he gets his confidence from the rider and can be a little spooky when hacking out on his own, but he is very willing to please and thrives on a strong one to one bond with his handler/rider. He does not like being left in the field on his own if his mates are taken out, so this needs to be managed. Bryn will live in or out but he does enjoy a cuddle, groom and snooze in the stable. Good to catch, shoe and load. He has a passport and is microchipped. Vaccinations all up to date. £, including decent tack and various rugs.

Gorgeous Bright Bay 13.2hh Welsh Section C Mare in Lockerbie

This beautiful 9yr old mare is very sadly for sale. We have only had her a few months and in that time she has been a great fun pony. Unfortunately she is just a bit too much for my daughter who has significant learning difficulties, so the pony is genuinely for sale through no fault of her own. We have had her at pony club and riding of the marches. She has been in a riding school and was shown successfully by previous owners, but she's not really a novice ride. She would make a fab working hunter and will be a great pony for an experienced teenager/small adult. She hacks alone or in company in all kinds of traffic including farm vehicles & lorries, will go through rivers etc. Good to shoe, load, travel, dentist etc. Will stand all day at a show. If I had my own field and the time, I would keep her as a 2nd ride for myself, but that's not an option. She deserves to go to a loving experienced home who can have lots of fun with her. Nantgwinau Cadog (by Geler Sparc x Rhandir Farwel Haf) Cadog is a very handsome hh Welsh Section D gelding rising 9 years old (foaled ). He is very intelligent, inquisitive and quick to learn. He's also quirky and full of character; he likes to play and loves being groomed. He has always been barefoot and is extremely tough. He can live out 24/7 with or without rugs in all weather conditions. Cadog has mostly been taught from the ground and has walked, trotted and cantered under saddle using natural horsemanship techniques. In he spent 7 weeks with a natural horsemanship professional. He has hacked out in company and on his own however due to lack of time and circumstances he is relatively inexperienced for his age and has been out of work for a year so ideally he will need someone knowledgeable, experienced, calm and confident to bring him back in to work and improve his confidence enough to get him hacking out on his own again. Cadog weaves and very occasionally windsucks and has some issues with being stabled so he prefers to live out 24/7; he did however make a significant improvement whilst being stabled during his time with the natural horsemanship professional. Recent work in the stable has also proved successful using a natural horsemanship technique. If stabling is to be a consideration, he would require further work in this area. He will also require company whilst turned out. He has previously travelled in a box and trailer. I have owned Cadog since he was 2 years old so my decision to take this step hasn't been taken lightly; he is only being rehomed due to lack of time and circumstances. Pretty bay mare. Excellent breeding. Same home two years and seven years in previous home. Good to catch, box, shoe, clip. Rides alone or in company. Can be strong in company but nothing nasty. Does have the odd spook and can be a bit wobbly in narrow lanes with cars coming towards her but okay on wider lanes and roads. Because of these things she is not a novice ride. For a competent rider she is ideal. She has hunted, been to shows (where she behaves impeccably) fun rides (where she jumps everything) schools nicely and has had results in the 60's in dressage tests. Not fizzy or silly and doesn't buck or rear. Very easy to handle on the ground. A real poppet. Lives in or out. Ideal little horse for riding club family.
