For sale is our lovely Cheeky, registered name Maxwelltown Cheeky Monkey. Hes 4 yrs old and 13.1hh Been to 3 shows 1 back in november where he Won the PB inhand 3yrolds, 1 dressage competition in may and he just done his first PB ridden class where he behaved impeccably, stood in the line up and didnt mind other ponies cantering past him. lovely comments from the judge. hes snaffle mouthed, typical baby thinks new things are gonna eat him but with a little encouragement he does what ever is asked of him. he loads and travells fine in our lorry and is good to have his feet done. his bad point is he needs food to be caught by new people, i have no trouble catching him but i have done everything with him so he knows and trusts me. hes only for sale as we brought him to brake to drive but he doesnt like the blinkers and i havent got the time to spend on him good home wanted for him Read More

Pillheath Santana (aka Bruno for short) is a 4 year old Welsh pony Section B Gelding standing 13hh and registered. He is the first to come out of the field, very friendly and inquisitive. He is turned out year round and has a good winter coat. He will come with his rain and cold weather turnout rug but will need a new thick winter turnout rug. He is happy when the farrier visits him and loves a good brush. Bruno respects fences and is not skittish of cars, but doesnt like little yapping dogs to much. He has a friendly personality, and the kids in the village love to give him a pet. He has a big endearing personality. Bruno was bought as a project for my wife so that she could train him further and advance her skills, however after having him a week, we found out we were expecting and have been trying to juggle having the horses, but we have had to be realistic and feel they deserve a home where they can get some more attention. Bruno is excellent on a lead rein, he will match your pace as you walk. He has been lunge by his previous owner. A stunning pony by Heaton Romeo who has been shown in hand and as a lead rein. He has taught my 3 children to ride on lead rein and then off lead rein out hacking, but he is not a first ridden pony in the school or at events as can get strong, excited and pop in a buck. He would suit a confident older child or small adult as the rider needs to get him going forward and work him properly. He has been schooled for showing and can canter on command but with us he has been primarily used to hack. An absolute darling to handle at home, good to loads, good with vet and farrier, has no health issues. All vaccinations and teeth up to date (April ) and only has front shoes (goes bare foot in the winter when we do less road work). Lives out most of the winter (until our ground can’t cope) and then in at night/ out by day (rugged part of the winter).
