Guitar Teacher for Absolute Beginners/ Beginners in Waltham

You don't have to have any prior experience of playing guitar. I will show you the very basics & explain the rudiments: including posture, strum hand technique, & tips for forming chords; plus a bit of (un-scary) theory. If you already know some of these things, we can work on developing your skills, and with practice, you will progress to playing guitar with confidence & ease! I have been playing guitar for 20 years, and I have been in acoustic & electric bands for the last 10 years. As with any kind of learning, a positive attitude will grow confidence; and, in essence, you will learn a lot more if you are enjoying it! Also, mistakes are good! I can come to you or I can do lessons at mine in Walthamstow. You will need your own acoustic guitar. £20 per hour lesson (First lesson half price). I will find out what you already know (or don't know, as the case may be!) & discuss what you want to learn & how you best learn, as well as getting straight into some playing.
