A large dresser display cabinet manufactured by Younger Furniture (London) Ltd from their Toledo range of furniture. The top section has two glazed doors behind which there is a single removable shelf, underneath there are two drawers and between there are two shelves, one of which is removal. A heavy overhanging cornice and spindles add the the overall design of this craftsman made piece of furniture. The base of the cabinet has four multi paneled doors and behind the two center doors there is a removable shelf. Chairs excellent condition. One leaf of the table top was re-stained after a removal company's accident; they did not get the colour match quite right. There are some scratch marks on the surface of the table.The table is a heavy piece of furniture so I have taken the table tops and extension leafs off the table to aid transport. These are very easy to refit. Younger Toledo large 'D' end table. The table extends from closed 183cm long x 107cm wide x 72cm high, which comfortably seats 6 people, to open when it is 244 cm long and comfortably seats 8 people. The leafs for extending are cleverly retained under the table when not in use. The high back chairs are from the Beccaria range they are 114cm high x 51cm wide x 56cm deep. The seats are cushioned and covered in 'tapestry' style fabric. This furniture was purchased in and cost circa £ at the time. Read More
