Yorkshire Terrier x Jack Russell cross

Houdini is looking for a new home through NO fault of his own. Houdini is 4 years old, fully house trained. Neutered. He hasn't had his booster which was due last month as he had a titer test and still had full protection from the last booster. He's fantastic in the car. Doesn't destroy anything in the home except pens. He walks nicely on the lead but does occasionally pull. He loves being able to run on grass. He has good recall but couldn't be let off straight away with a new owner until you have his trust. He loves cuddly toys. He is fine with cats and other dogs but never been around small furies. I would advise against it as he is a terrier and has quite a strong prey drive having said that he is a soppy boy! He doesn't like water but will let you shower him no problem. He loves to roll in the grass and touch wood has never rolled in anything! His only flaw is barking. He is a barker. He barks on the walk mainly when he is on lead having said this he is not aggressive in the slightest and has never shown any aggression towards anyone or another dog. He does growl also when he plays with his toys but he learnt this from his brother and sister from his litter. He is a small breed dog. He can't be rehomed if you live in a flat or on a main road as he wouldn't be happy with all the noises of cars and people going past. He must have a garden as he doesn't have one anymore and I know how much he misses his old garden. He can be left for up 4 hours with no issues. His ideal home would be a family with or without children, no small furies and possibly no other cats as he is a bit nervous of them as they beat him up. Would be happy as either a only dog or with another dog of similar or smaller size. He is not a dominant dog so would need to be with another docile dog so he isn't bullied. New owner must keep in contact with me with pictures and updates. I do not want to have to rehome him but sadly my mum has let me down as she was going to look after him until I was able to do so. As she has let me down I have no other option then to find him the best possible home he could wish for. Ad ID:
