Talented All-Rounder in Cardiff

Darcy is 14.1hh, 8 year old quality all-rounder who we have owned for 3 years. She has lovely breeding being half Connemara and quarter hanoverian/ thoroughbred.This is a very sad sale for my daughter who loves her pony. Darcy has attended many pony club rallies, pony club camp and regularly competed in unaffiliated show jumping and dressage (usually receiving scores over 70). She is a naturally clever and very athletic pony with a scopy jump, she has potential to go further. She has been in the pony club area dressage team. We compete Darcy locally both in showjumping and dressage and she usally comes home with a rosette. My daughter and Darcy have had regular lessons with good instructors with the result that she has progressed significantly in the time that we have owned her. Darcy is very well schooled, she has a good understanding of the basics of lateral work and learns quickly. She has lovely conformation and paces. Darcy is forward thinking and quite sensitive therefore, she would not be suitable as a first pony. She hacks out alone or in company, fine on roads and with most farm yard machinery, she has no vices. She is good with the vet and up to date with her vaccinations etc. For sale as my daughter is moving up to horses.
