Yoga, breathing exercise and meditation in Bushey
I am a 200hrs certified Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa and Power Yoga insured teacher based in Bushey Heath, North West London. I started to take Yoga seriously in my late 20's, before then I'd been to a few classes here and there, but I was practicing sporadically and without much direction. Since becoming a qualified Yoga Teacher, I credit Yoga with positively changing the relationship I have with my body and enabling me to move through my life with a clearer mind. My main focus is to bring the attention to the inner-self through being in touch with the body and working with breath awareness, using the practices as a moving meditation. In terms of my offering as a teacher, students can expect a dynamic flowing style of Yoga with an emphasis on breath and alignment. I invite students to experience the anatomy and physiology of their own bodies and expression of the felt sense with somatic exercises, conscious explorations, imagery and visualizations. I will guide you through the process to find the present moment where mind-body-spirit are in communion. The physiological response is delicious. I offer modifications and variations so classes are accessible for beginners, whilst also being challenging enough for more advanced students. Each student is encouraged to work at their own level yet challenge their own perceived physical and mental limits both on and off the mat. My goal as a Yoga teacher is to encourage others to find a place of calm and inner stillness, to counteract the stresses and pressures of a modern lifestyle. I inspire each student to maintain a regular practice and experience life from a healthy, happy peaceful place. I am a member of the Yoga Alliance (RYT 200). I also regularly attend a wide variety of classes in search of new experiences and new ideas to incorporate into my teaching style.
