This is the perfect student Tenor Saxophone, it is easy to play and has a lovely tone. I am selling it with a new unopened yamaha 4C mouthpiece with a ligature and cap. I have owned this for approximately 8 years and I have always had it regularly serviced and it had a full service at the beginning of , I am told it is in very condition but of course it has minor scratches etc from just normal wear and tear, but that is all. It comes in the Yamaha hard case with the backpack straps if needed. You are welcome to come and try it out here if you want. I will be sad to see it go but I am in the process of upgrading. Yamaha YTS-275 Tenor Saxophone

The Yamaha YTS-275 is a perfect horn for both new players and for players who are perhaps a bit more advanced but need a back up horn. I bought it new from Allegro in Oxford around 15 years ago and it has always performed flawlessly (I wish I could say the same for my playing!). It has a lovely tone, plays easily and has good tuning and it is beautifully made. The only reason for me selling it is that I've bought something a bit more suited to my current needs and sadly that means having to sell this sax. It was my first tenor and I have to say I think I might feel like I've lost a limb when it's gone! It's in good shape, never dropped and therefore no dents or dings however there are a couple of places where the lacquer has been marked but nothing you wouldn't expect of a horn of this age I don't think.

Lovely tenor saxophone for sale. I learned to play on this, but is also good for experienced players. Comes with hard travel case, two neck straps, cork grease, polish cloth, spare reed and original manual. There are some scratches to the saxophone (mainly the left side where it would rest against my leg) which hopefully can be seen in the photos (this is just from playing as normal), but otherwise is in good condition and sounds lovely. Yamaha YTS 275 Tenor Sax

I bought this some years ago from Allegro in Oxford but have now gone back to playing flutes, hence the sale. The sax has only been played lightly at home, and hardly at all for the last 5 years. As far as I am aware it is in perfect condition (see photos). The sax was made in Japan, and included in the sale are Yamaha 4C mouthpiece, some reeds, the original hard case, a padded neck-strap, and a couple of pull-throughs for cleaning. The YTS-275 is often described as an ideal instrument for students. If you are just starting on the sax, then feel free to bring a friend with you to check it out properly as my own playing will probably not do it justice. If you have any questions, just let me know. I am sadly selling my beloved Yamaha 275 sax in order to fund an upgrade. I purchased this saxophone second hand in , but it really was in top condition. This is an ideal instrument for anyone wishing to take up the saxophone and to begin learning. It is easy to play, with a smooth tone, and the tuning is even. The sound quality in the lower register is very clear, and low B’s and Bb’s are strong and powerful. There is a tiny dent in the bell, however this makes no difference to the sound quality. This instrument is by no means just for beginners, indeed it has got me all the way though my grade 8 and beyond, and is incredibly versatile, whether you are playing some solo Bach, or in a jazz big band.
