One of Yamaha's cult classic keyboards. Pretty good condition, although as you can see it's missing a few knobs. Those controls still work, though. All keys work, as does the sampler. Built in speakers sound loud and clear, but you have the option of plugging in or headphones too. Ribbon controller allows you to slide your finger to change pitch and other parameters. Much more interesting/expressive than pitchbend, but it has that too (of course). Power supply will be included. PLEASE NOTE: This will not come with the box or any leads. Vintage Yamaha SY-22 Vector Synthesizer Keyboard in

For sale - vintage 80's Yamaha SY-22 Vector Synthesizer. I bought this recently for a band project that never took flight, so it is surplus to requirements. As you can see by the photos, this is in excellent condition with just a couple of minor scuffs here & there. Everything works exactly as it should with no buttons or keys sticking. This synth is very easy to program and can produce some very nice sounds, especially atmospheric type pads. It uses a combination of sampled waveforms and FM, (ala DX7), synthesis, and with synth editing software you can dig deeper into the FM programming and coax some really great sounds out of this. The joystick can be moved in real time to change the sound, or you can record the movements and save them into a patch - neat. These are getting hard to come by now, especially in such good condition, but here's your chance. Many people sell them and then regret it somewhere down the line, but as I am first and foremost a guitarist, I don't get too attached to keyboards. Collection only from Sheffield S36, because I just can't trust couriers with delicate electronics, and the buyer will have the opportunity to play it to make sure they're happy. I'm open to reasonable offers.
